  1. Played the piano just yesterday! I take it in spells, though.
  2. Interesting. I suppose it could be stress as I really start chewing when I'm having computer problems or if I'm anxious about something. Or as that link suggested, a form of OCD. I've had mild forms since I was little. So do I! In fact the nail biting, cuticle picking is something else I'm trying to break. Back in the summer one of my fingernails was going in all warped looking. A couple of months later, three more fingernails followed. I did some research that said it may be contributed to nail biting and picking. They look disgusting. I have to paint them before I go in public and sometimes I just don't want to mess with that. The four problem fingers also have black down in the cuticle, and no I didn't slam them in anything. My right thumbnail is starting to look a lot better. I feel all diseased now talking about it.
  3. I don't make New Year's Resolutions, but the other day I decided I really needed to quit the habit of biting the inside of my mouth and my lip. My mom and my aunt have the same habit; I don't know why I do as well. I'm starting to see a crease on my chin and I don't like it one bit.
  4. Do any of you experience sleep paralysis? It's only happened to me about five times ever. The most recent was a little over a week ago. It's when your brain wakes up before your body does. You're lying there fully aware of your surroundings, but can't move. You're paralyzed. It's scary, especially when you don't know what it is.
  5. Didn't there used to be a seasonal ice skating rink set up in the parking lot of Memorial City Mall before they built the indoor one?
  6. Great photos as always! Haven't been there in a long time. Dan Rather is from Houston. Maybe he still has family members around here.
  7. Johnny Dang looks ridiculous. I haven't been to Sharpstown since 1993. I've probably been no more than four times in my entire life. My parents used to shop there, though.
  8. Dang. All I dreamt last night was that my purse got stolen. Sounds like you have a thing for Mr. Ed.
  9. Great for Katy! I support any Houston-area teams.
  10. Isiah said that he and the camera man were stunned. Really? Come on.
  11. I hope the unbeaten team goes all the way, whichever one that is (I'd have to look it up; just heard one was unbeaten). That'd be neat. Though I probably wouldn't be watching, it'd be neat.
  12. Do you really eat in the middle of the night? I don't see how people do that. I can't even drink water in the middle of the night. Usually I don't get up in the middle of the night at all.
  13. That's so interesting. I never knew about it. Thanks for the photos.
  14. I'll add drunk drivers to your list. Not much makes me angrier than that. They have no regard at all for other human lives. Entire families are wiped out by these losers. Innocent people going about their business are murdered every day because some useless nobody decides to drink and drive. If I had it my way every drunk driver who murders someone will get an overnight stay at the morgue, on a cot, next to their mangled victim and then an automatic life sentence.
  15. Imperfect teeth give a person character. They're not that bad. You wouldn't want to look like this native Houstonian:
  16. I've seen that, too, but I thought it was a Texas Lottery commercial.
  17. When I first saw the subject I thought it read "tripping" the mailman.
  18. Remember those talking Christmas trees with the big eyes they had a few years ago? Creepy.
  19. Billy Mumy and Jr.: http://youtube.com/watch?v=8CtZTSaUxnY
  20. Always artificial. I really love those gaudy aluminum trees with the blue, lime green and fluorescent pink ornaments and icicles. Oh, and those light up ornaments with the oil inside. I forgot what they're called. My grandma always had them.
