  1. A ton of Waste Water application permits were just submitted for all of these lots. Also for 3829 Harrisburg. I'm hoping this means IntownHomes is *finally* spinning up production here.
  2. Same company has a remodel permit for the house nextdoor: 5 ESTELLE ST BLD 1 77003
  3. Web sleuth of the year award. Would love for the area to be less industrial so I am here for residential. I live just east of York St and there's such a disconnect between the retail/residential area of Commerce (near tout suite/cidercade) and the connection to the York/Sampson corridor and it's primarily that long stretch of land occupied by Olshan. That'd be a great connection to the Second Ward/East End neighborhoods. I wonder if the East End Center of Commerce is aware of these updates and incorporated them into their plans for the Navigation Esplanade? I know Commerce and Canal were on those drawings.
  4. Confirmed that Giant Leap location will be Cafe Louie, a mix of giant leap and Angie’s. So excited for this
  5. Permits in for the building that housed the former skate shop. Any idea what’s happening here?
  6. CDAB III has a permit to upgrade and add an addition to the facility. LETSOS will be the contractor. https://www.letsos.com/
  7. It’s under new ownership as of November 2020. They’re rebranding (new logo etc), probs getting a lil facelift
  8. I think "That's It!" may just be a food truck out of Williams Food Products, unfortunately.
  9. New business permit for "That's It BBQ" at 105 Sampson St. Its a small brick building surrounded by fences that I always assumed was used for residential purposes. Curious to see if this actually ends in a restaurant. Currently they are only support catering/food truck. https://www.facebook.com/THATSITBBQ/
  10. Was talking with Susan, the local produce lady at the Sunday Flea Market, and she will occupy one of these permanent set ups. She said they'll have their usual assortment of fruit + veg and hopefully will secure a meat vendor (mentioned Wagyu but needed to confirm they were on the up and up), and is hoping to work another local vendor to sell the eggs that are usually at the market. She said she's hoping to be up and running by early to mid July and they'll be open Wed - Sun.
  11. Finally a permit for a 3k sqft coffee shop/retail buildout that will be Giant Leap. I heard through the grapevine that it will likely manifest as something other than "Giant Leap", still coffee shop but perhaps more upscale like a cafe.
  12. My former coworker from NASA is one of the four guys who started it. Nice guy and great beers. They trend lighter and have more sours, saisons and wheats than I can find elsewhere. Definitely recommend!
  13. I take back my previous statement. Although braun enterprises owns the building, the names on the permits are from one of the tenants of that building (Legal Media). Likely will be their new offices. https://www.legalmediainc.com/
  14. Plan Review Permit in for 19 N York Street (navy building at corner of York and McAshan that was once going to house a BBQ joint) to used the building for offices Ancorian owns this property. There was once a thread about this site but I scoured the list and couldn't find it. Please merge if still exists. Thanks!
  15. 8am is kind of late for a coffee shop. This is on my route to work but I'm usually long gone by 8. Hopefully their full operating hours will be longer.
  16. Yes. This metal structure will become the clubhouse. This is south of the KBR building and closer to Hirsch Road/Later Phases than Jensen/Phase I location.
  17. Signs up for new car wash and auto detailing center on the lot right where navigation curves through Engelke I hope they make use of the current Torres Auto Repair building, it's such a unique structure.
