    God the amount of steel in those towers was insane, not to mention the money it must have cost to build those behemoths.

    I completely agree, I love the tower but it really makes the uptown skyline looks a lot shorter than it really is

    I don't remember the exact number but it will be 130-150 taller than BG Group tower so it should really make an impact with that additional height.

    I just noticed from the web cam on this project that the apartments right behind Astoria are currently begin demolished. Does anyone know what for?

    The 30 story high rise on Montrose is already taller and it started way after and should be built with higher load capacity.
