    If I had an extra $1.5 Billion laying around I'd fund this, what an amazing project. Unfortunately I can see UT going with their own campus because god knows UT cant be bothered to have to share space with other institutions. Sharing does not fit their MO and I really don't ever see UT or A&M wanting to share a facility with each other. It will be hard to get two of the most inflated egos in the nation to collaborate.

    I do completely agree that it is down right wrong for a company to show a certain render and then deliver something very different.

    You'r right I much preferred what the empty parking lot brought the that part of town. Who needs guests in a (not very attractive, I'll say it) hotel that can go out and spend money in our CBD if we could have a beautiful and spectacular parking lot.

    Ahh downtown Houston Texas, where certain blocks are sells for tens of millions and others are abandoned grass fields.

    It will still cost more? If they have the same amount of units at the same price then they wont make as much.

    Wow 40 miles is ridiculous, Houston defiantly has the advantage on this one. Hopefully this super bowl (the one in Houston) will be a great success and we can get it to come back every few years like NOLA.

    We have this conversation on every high rise. In a month or two people will be saying wow this one has really picked up pace or hit it's stride.
