On the ground floor, tenants and guests will have access to 7K SF of retail as well as a lobby with touchless security turnstiles, app-based guest registration and destination dispatch elevators. The building’s floor plates will range from 16K SF to 26K SF. Austin-based architect Michael Hsu has been tapped to design the interior amenity spaces, which include a fitness center, rooftop event space and terrace on level 28, and community spaces throughout the property.

The exterior features waves of curvy slabs, while the interior reflects Midtown’s fresh and urban feel. Anticipated ground breaking mid-2021. Estimated completion date late 2023.
  3. I started my Friday ride chasing for a Bike Tag, it looked to be a bridge base, underpass in the 2nd wrad, so I looked around almost every bridge, overpass, and underpass but didn't find it. Turns out I rode right by it at the silos by Buffalo Bayou east of Jensen, but I didn't see it. Someone else playing the game found it. This is what I was looking for.
  4. Signs being removed, only Half Price, Signature Med, 369 (last day for them is today the 15th) and the med supply are still open.
  5. Lots of contractors busy getting the reno done.
  6. Several contractors working in the building, all entrances except the Lovett St are barricaded off.
  7. Land clearing going on now, but for what I'm not sure. Found a permit which has the name as "Buffalo Bayou LP, Bayou Vista".
  8. Brazos Street bridge reconstruction The rebuild of the Brazos Street bridge should be completed in January, according to Houston Public Works. In December, crews were finalizing intersection improvements, including new striping, curb ramps and pedestrian crossings. In addition, Smith Street will be reduced to two lanes from three from Francis Street to Holman Street. The bridge, which brings traffic from Hwy. 59 into Midtown, has been closed since summer 2019 after its surface began to deteriorate. Cost: $4 million Timeline: fall 2019-winter 2020

West Alabama Street paving and drainage A segment of West Alabama Street from Weslayan Street to Buffalo Speedway is scheduled for construction in the summer on a 16-month timeline. Bidding on the project was expected to begin in early 2021, according to Houston Public Works. The project will bring a complete road overhaul with new storm drainage, sidewalks, driveways and street lighting with water and wastewater improvements. Cost: $15.87 million Timeline: summer 2021-22
  10. Rooftop Cinema officially opens The Drive-In off Navigation Joey Guerra January 8, 2021Updated: January 8, 2021, 11:29 am The Drive-In off Navigation is ready for its close-up. Rooftop Cinema Club's newest venture has its grand opening Jan. 21 at 2300 Runnels with what is being billed as the largest screen in the city at 64 feet. It replaces the recently closed Drive-In at Sawyer Yards. Screenings kick off with the 1993 blockbuster "Jurassic Park" (early) and "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" (late). The venue can hold up to 200 cars, all spaced teen feet apart in accordance with social distancing. Concessions will be available from Kurbside Eatz and Sizzles HTX. Masks will be required to go to the restroom, pick up concessions or anytime you're outside a vehicle. The grand opening follows last month’s soft opening, which included several screenings of "Elf." The venue will be open Wednesday-Sunday, with two screenings per night. Tickets are $22–36 per vehicle, depending on vehicle occupancy and day, and are on sale now. Children ages three and younger will not count as vehicle occupants.
