    It's capable of hoisting loads up 5000 tons (10 million lbs) and is located at a refinery in Baytown. It is being used to replace a cat cracker unit.

    Ok, so someone online saw this huge crane and asked for some pics of it. Some people posted their pics of it. None of these pics are mine but others already posted them, so here you go.....this is a very very huge crane ( I would say the equivalent of a 35-40 story building) and it started making some lifts in the last few days.

    Now would be a great time to build it but hotels are among the hardest hit industries during the pandemic, so I kind of doubt that. Hope to be proved wrong though.

    2320 Crocker St. the old Paraiso Mexican restaurant for years then converted to "Tequila Joe's" is now 2.0 a dance club. The poor guys that converted it to Tequila Joe's about 2 weeks before the first covid shutdown and then reopened. I tried it once and it was worth me trying again. I especially liked their warm black bean dip given with the chips.

    Marconi St is very torn up, looks like they might do a shitty patch job on it. It's a shame cause they tore it up.

    This building next to the new build is damaged beyond repair. I guess their insurance will probably give them way less than if they had sold to the apartments. I bet the neighborhood is glad to get rid of them.
