@HAIF.cares The site is completely unusable on mobile. I'm getting redirects to adds on every page. Home, Going Up, this forum. Anything to fix that asap?

He said this immediately after releasing the letter in response to Whitmire's scathing review? Sooooo that's $200 million for nothing or were they still in the due dillegence period?

Generation Park: Mixed-Use In Northeast Harris County
BigFootsSocks replied to lockmat's topic in Going Up!
Yeah but imagine the guilt that comes with trying to walk into a meeting at an office at Redemption Square! "Hello sir I'm looking for company that provides a service I need" "WELL HAVE YOU REDEEMED YOUR SOUL TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOR YET" Honestly though, McCord is 0/2 on naming schemes.- 192 replies

Dallas to Houston high-speed train opposed by rural Texas lawmakers
BigFootsSocks replied to H.Ham's topic in Transit
Is he leaving TCR though? It wasn't mentioned in the article (at least I don't think it was) and he's still listed as an employee on their website. -
Looks like a judge issued a default summary judgement stating Texas Centra is indeed a railroad company...as if that Catch-22 argument would ever hold up.

I wouldn't even be that mad tbh

I think Buc-ee's is thinking of the long term plan; when (if, I guess) this line is built it should eventually expand to other cities, which would cut into their profits? As a side note, I'd join the TAHSR group if the stations are branded by Buc-ee's tbh

I saw that on the r/Houston post about this. Would be very interesting and would make sense, but they have so many stores among other highways that I'd be still be surprised if they were funding the opposition.

http://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/transportation/article/Texas-legislators-trying-to-put-brakes-on-10948975.ph Looks like the battle is finally here in the 2017 Legislative session. Odd that quite a few of the bills are filed by representatives of districts where the HSR won't pass through.

I can't figure out how to download pics from the latest Planning Commission Agenda, but it looks like St.Arnolds is planning a massive expansion next to their current facilities. They will be adding a Restaurant and Beer Garden.

Pearl Marketplace At Midtown: Multifamily At 3120 Smith St.
BigFootsSocks replied to DrLan34's topic in Midtown
We went from; "Look at these renderings on the fence with Whole Foods!" to "Look! They've removed the renderings! What happened to Whole Foods?" to "Look at this article! Whole Foods is closing some stores!" to "Well looks like this could be one of them...?" to "Here are some ideas for replacements" All in a matter of days. Never change HAIF, never change.- 550 replies

Yeah the target of your posts really need to quit using logic and common sense in their posts. Really irritating when that gets in the way of "I don't care if it doesn't make sense I just want a big tall tower"- 762 replies

Kind of a click-bait title then; it's not breaking ground, it's moving to the stage of "we hope a tenant signs a lease so we can break ground"- 63 replies

How can a County Judge say something like this though? That's a blatant lie, and as a member of this nation, his role is to uphold truth and justice, yet here we are seeing him spout utter nonsense like this.
