  1. In this HBJ article it seems like there will be a Alamo location still in Midtown just not at the first announced location on Louisiana. http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/news/2013/02/14/houston-to-get-thrid-inner-loop-alamo.html
  2. Did those rumors include reasons or explanations for why they aren't as interested in the site as they were a year ago ?
  3. http://blog.chron.com/primeproperty/2013/02/downtown-building-sale-could-shatter-records/ Hopefully, once Hines sells BG Group Place they will start on a new downtown office building.
  4. That's would be great. However, I wouldn't hold my breath on the high rises look at midtown.
  5. That's the type of developments that should be going up in Midtown. Unfortunately I don't see it happening, it's to much like right.
  6. Another disappointing development, would have been a great site for a multi family project.
  7. WoW looks like a great design. So much nicer then the majority of the other apartment mid-rises going up.
  8. Oh yeah and Helfman River Oaks Chrysler Jeep off of Kirby.
  9. Also there is Advantage BMW and Stewart Cadillac both in Midtown.
  10. Wow did anyone notice the HCC master plan.
  11. If they put a one story building there that will be ridiculous. There is enough room there for atleast a midrise. A high rise if its done properly.
  12. I hadn't heard anything about the 40 story commercial building. Do you have any details about it ?
  13. Here is a rendering for the property currently being developed into Blvd place, if it was developed by Midway. http://www.munozalbin.com/22-post-oak-ii.html
  14. Here is a rendering of the building that was suppose to take the place of Willie G's restaurant on Post Oak. It was going to be built by Simmons Vedder Partners around 2008, however they ended up selling the property. http://www.munozalbin.com/34-post-oak-office-tower.html It was going to be a 320,000 sq ft office building.
  15. In the article it mentioned that Houston First Corp is going to spend $23 mil to make Ave De Americas more pedistrian friendly by incorporating retail and restaurants. So they most likely will resurface the area.
  16. I was curious about that as well especially since the Upper Kirby District has done a couple upgrades to the park the last decade. There are even plans for another phase of upgrades. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12468449/Upper%20Kirby%20PPS%20Final%20Report.pdf
  17. I stand corrected. Always seemed crowded to me.
  18. Didn't they shut down a lot of stores a few years ago ?
