  1. I agree it does look like the already existing wings of the Galleria, especially the Nieman Marcus wing.
  2. It had to be done it was always awkward to have to walk thru Saks to get the the Galleria III. I cant wait to see how it turns out, with the residential high rise and all. Now the only thing I wish they would do is develop the parking lots at the SW corner of Post Oak & Westheimer. Also it would be great if they redeveloped the Dillards and its parking lot.
  3. In this rendering you can even see the apartments next door and the beltway behind the tower. Matches up perfectly. http://www.pickardchilton.com/mobile/corporate_development_mp.html
  4. I think you are correct. If you look at the shape of the land on the model it is the shape of the property also the lake on the site is the in the same position as the one included in the model. The two large parking structures and the large tower would be built adjacent to the beltway and the other buildings would be behind it to the west. Great find, I have always liked this design hopefully it isn't ruled out.
  5. That piece of land has been for sale for quite sometime. As far as Willie G's I heard a while back that Fertitta was going to build a new location for the restaurant by his HQ and the Bentley dealership.
  6. Nice 12, I know of : 1. Hanover Post Oak 2. Belfiore 3. Astoria 4. The Soverign 5. 2929 Weslayan 6. Ashby Highrise 7. Skyhouse 8. Tema Tower on Herman 9. Hines Downtown 10. Hines Museum District 11. Texaco Building
  7. This bisnow article says that the site at Cambridge & Holcombe will be developed with a highrise. http://www.bisnow.com/commercial-real-estate/houston/multifamily-monday-private-equity-goes-suburban/ "And in a few weeks, they're bringing to market a Med Center site—pictured, two acres at Cambridge and Holcombe—that'll see high-rise development (they've already received hotel and multifamily offers)."
  8. Great list Urbannizer. There is also the Phillips 66 HQ in Westchase, Block 10 west I believe it will be 12 stories, Towne Centre phase 1 will be 10 stories by Moody Rambin.
  9. If you check out this Brookfield link it list the three possible sites for 3 highrises. http://brookfieldofficeproperties.com/content/portfolio/development-8943.html They are: Five Allen Center Allen Center Clay Street 1500 Smith Street They all say Pre-development phase.
  10. Is this it ? http://richardkeatingarchitecture.com/projects/drawings/170/
  11. I wish this was built instead of what ended up being built. I think the Methodist project will still happen.
  12. If the Midland tower was being built in Houston people would be complaining that its just a box.
  13. The email says that they are opening a new Westin Hotel in Houston at the end of the year. Does anyone know where ?
  14. I dont think it is that one, the one in Rice Village is being built by Hanover. I believe it is only residential.
  15. I agree. The 50 story Fairmont hotel Austin is getting is pretty nice. I'd love to see something like that go up on the the east side of downtown.
  16. I know I hope it is interesting. http://www.bisnow.com/commercial-real-estate/houston/greg-and-chip-to-head-hendricks-berkadia/ "McCord Development prez Ryan McCord agrees you can build a better mouse trap. He's planning something really innovative for Generation Park's first office tower. He says it'll be a first for Houston, but we can't hear more about it until this fall. In other Generation Park news, Ryan announced he has proposals out for two 1M SF fulfillment centers."
