Texasota
Eh, separating the garage out probably makes it easier to adapt the design for different sites in different cities. Plus, if, in the future, market conditions incentivize a higher use, the garage itself can be replaced without touching the apartment building itself. Popular Post Brian Reading
They've kicked this project into hyper-speed. I feel like I see a new floor every 2-3 days or so. At this rate, we should see it top out by mid-September. HoustonIsHome
The three new buildings already give the walk from Bell station to DTC a different feel. Hopefully the other residential on main across from the DTC doesn't get delayed.I used to look out the window at the Bell stop and wonder why on earth would there be a stop here. All four sides were just empty lots.

cspwal
I don't know, it seems to be a good fit - it's not as tall as sky house(s) but it is taller than Block 334, and it takes up a small part of the block. There's still room for more on that block, and it matches in height nicely with the Savoy Holiday Inn

UtterlyUrban
The little historic condo building over there will be getting even more neighbors soon. That's a good thing, I think.

BigFootsSocks
I saw a rendering posted at ssp of what someone called the "Atlanta Skyhouse" design, which was a 35ish story Skyhouse. BigFootsSocks
It's a new Skyhouse design that someone on the Dallas thread at SSP mentioned; Dallas is getting a smaller version of the new design, but the render he posted with it showed a 30+ story Skyhouse.
