LTAWACS
I was under the impression that the northern boundary of the so-called "energy corridor" was I-10. This is way north of that.... on Clay Road at BW 8. Is this correct?
por favor gracias
That's correct, it's a good 3 or 4 miles north of I-10.
LTAWACS
So could it be said that this is not in the "energy corridor", but rather, north of it?

arche_757
Too bad on the location. Could have attached to something Memorial/Energy Corridor like at least.

LTAWACS
tracts of land this large don't just grow on trees you know.  No kidding.  That's fine. However, if it's not in the energy corridor... then their markerting fluff department shouldnt say it's in the energy corridor...

HoustonIsHome
I agree. People stretch definitions of boundaries all the time. They will call something near 610 and westheimer a river oaks development, or something on 45 far south of 1960 a Spring development when its actually Greenspoint. Its ask about what sounds more marketable
psilverot
Would this then be considered to be part of the "West Belt" development?

Would this then be considered to be part of the "West Belt" development?Dear goodness I hope not.
H-Town Man
Too bad on the location. fernz
Just when you thought the energy corridor was becoming a rich urban environment, they go and ruin it all. This is not on the EC, this is the newly designated West Belt sub market; which has always been a collection of isolated suburban office parks. H-Town Man
This is not on the EC, this is the newly designated West Belt sub market; which has always been a collection of isolated suburban office parks. My post was sarcastic. I was responding to arche_757's complain that this wasn't built in the Energy Corridor, adding to the synergy of buildings over there.
H-Town Man
tracts of land this large don't just grow on trees you know. Unless it's a giant Tanzanian Land-tract Tree, but even then, the size of this one is unusual.

Meadowglen Ln runs right through it.. the property with a 4 story apartment complex in the middle of the lot but other then that it has been sitting undeveloped (albeit with roads on the property). sorry to get off topic, i didnt want to start a new thread just to ask about it. cloud713
Damn... Just drove by this site. It looks like the woodlands. They are going to tear down a ton of trees.. I wish they had fewer buildings and made them taller so they would be more spaced out and retained the woodedness of the property.
BigFootsSocks
Taking advantage of the trees and creating a mini-woodlands would make this place look a bit better than the cliche corporate box machine look it has now
