Sometime between mid-August and now, Bunkhouse Group included a separate location page for Hotel Saint Augustine. There is also a property page for the hotel.

The website has still yet to launch.

Hotel Saint Augustine is slated to open next year at 4110 Loretto Dr.

Hotel Saint Augustine is a new hotel in the Museum District of Houston. Located in the heart of the Montrose neighborhood, the hotel is spread across five small buildings and 71 rooms, plus an all-day restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a lobby bar, and intimate event space.

The hotel will feature a selection of rooms available at a rate accessible to artists, allowing guests to absorb the winding pathways and outdoor spaces integrated around the tree canopy from landscape architects Ten Eyck. The hotel’s all-day restaurant will transform into a fine-dining destination in the evenings, while an intimate reel-to-reel listening room provides a chance to experience sound in a more deliberate way.

It's going to be additional parking for the hotel workers and the hotel's guest. The biggest opposition to the project from the neighborhood was lack of sufficient parking so at the last minute they added parking here and on Loretto St.

I talked with a worker with Forney who said their project finish date will be June '25.

The Forney worker I talked with earlier said they had a mock up under construction in the shed that will become the extra parking.

I was in the Menil neighborhood today and the hotel is coming along nicely. I think the scale is perfect for the neighborhood.I love the aerial views but to get the real feel for the scale and feel of this project you need to walk down West Main from the Drawing Institute to Mandell. You really begin to understand why they didnt build a six or ten story edifice. It fits in with the houses across the street in a very natural way. This is going to become a very popular destination for out of town art lovers. Anything taller would have been inappropriate.

The city gave them the permits to close off Loretto St. so they could hook up to city underground utilities and work on the extra parking and sidewalks.

All the buildings are for the most part topped out. For those wondering what HFD was doing here they were doing training on their pumper trucks. They probably water the big lawn doing it. I see them all around Montrose and Midtown doing training.
