A plumbing permit was filed today for Maven / Maven Coffee Co. It's a coffee shop and cafe that will be located in the lobby of Thompson Houston / The Thompson Hotel.

Building permits lists the address for Maven as 1711 Allen Parkway Floor 1. However, the address on Thompson Houston's website lists 1701 Allen Parkway.

An electrical permit was purchased yesterday for 1711 Allen Parkway, Floor 1. The permit is for a coffee bar buildout at The Thompson / Thompson Houston hotel in The Allen mixed-use development.

As mentioned in several posts, the name of the coffee shop is Maven. Thompson Houston's lists 1701 Allen Parkway and 1717 Allen Parkway as the address.

In case some of you missed this in your Instagram feed, Renfrow+Co shared a photo of its work in The Residences at The Allen. The company built several custom wood doors for some of the quarters.

The Residences at The Allen is situated above The Thompson / Thompson Houston Hotel. It's located at 1711 Allen Pkwy in The Allen mixed-use development.

Gorgeous custom wood doors going in at The Residence at Allen Tower.

In total, we built eight unique door designs (24 doors total) made of steel and wood. We'll post photos of each design upon project close-out.

This photo really shows that the increased developments/density adds impact to skyline views — even just the townhouses alone add mass, but combined with the Allen, there's really good impact.

Anyone know what's going on with the apartments right in front of the allen? From the pictures it seems like they are mostly empty, and I've seen large dumpsters on the property a few times. You can see a blue one in the recent picture. Would be nice to see future high-rise developments here that would really change the skyline.

Costar shows them 93% occupied so it's not empty

Something is drawing a whole lot of people because the parking lot is almost completely full. I know the EOS Fitness is popular, is the parking garage available to anyone?
