during the last boom cycle, we had 80 million sqft of space built, with no old building rehabs. during this boom, we had 17 million sqft built... How many sqft of old buildings have been rehabbed, and repurposed this cycle? -

so, it looks like they are going to keep the Fingers Furniture building's slab, using it as a parking lot. My late friend Gonzo did a survey on it for his engineering firm... he said that slab and cockroaches are the only things that will survive a nuclear war, it's so thick.

6601 Fondren, the former location of Sharpstown Chinese Buffet. The food there was so bad that i felt like it was my duty to dine and dash the only time i ever went there is 1989.. it was razed last week for a gas station
