    All proposed forms of rail are continually voted down as "unneccessary" and "a waste of money", the charge being led by John Culberson junior. As Houstons burgeoning population exceeds 8 million in the metro area, we are annually ranked the nations "worst city to commute in" by far, leading Culberson to propose the "Grander Parkway", a 100 lane wide freeway that wraps around the entire Houston/Katy/Baytown/Sugarland area, with connecting spokes into the just plain Grand Parkway, Beltway 8 and hwy 6. Culbersons proposal also calls for the 610 loop to be widened to 50 lanes and to be elevated to 1,200 feet so as not to encroach on the galleria, the heights, the med center, etc...

    The Katy fwy, with an average commute time of 1hr 52mins into downtown is under construction again, this time to expand the freeway to 40 lines wide.

    Dont know if it was mentioned but they are renovating the sky lobby. If I could add anything, I would add a super tall antenna or spire, just to reclaim the "tallest building west of the mississippi" title and piss off all those friendly people in LA

    Without fail, every night when driving home when I get to around San Jacinto and Elgin, there is a pungent, mouth watering smell of either cookies or cakes baking and its driving me NUTS! SOMEONE HERE KNOWS WHAT IT IS, TELL ME!!!

    You cant even see the "Northern portion of downtown skyline" in the lower level seating vantage point you hand picked, all I see in your picture is union station and sky. Now from the UPPER level seating and nosebleeds, which is the only place you can even see the skyline, no, the view will remain unobstructed by an 8 story building a several hundred feet away.
