  1. Did Houston Dynamo win the MLS Cup in Dallas/Frisco this year? What did Dallas win in '06?
  2. Yeah. If you're ever in a burning forest full of monkeys that aren't smart enough to run away, hold up your heart ring. You'll all still burn up, but at least you'll die thinking you did something...
  3. Where would they stay? You REALLY trust MTV's producers to portray Houston as a hip-trendy city? When they did Austin, they made the house pink, and made it look like an 80's ZZ Top video. There's no way they'd want to make Houston's house look better than Hawaii, Miami, or New York. If they REALLY wanted to portray Houston right, they'd live rither Uptown, Midtown, or Downtown. Perhaps even a house in Memorial that looked like a hip-hop video. Knowing MTV though, they'd stuff the 7 castmembers in a barn or something and call it modern-day Texas
  4. Wait a minute. Look at that YouTube clip again. U saw what the 4 other kids did with their bad-ass rings. WTF did Heart do in that clip?
  5. It depends. Are there any Vince Youngs or Reggie Bushes available in 2007's draft?
  6. I must say though that these new designs seem to have made it worth the wait. I think the new Cowboys Stadium and Reliant Stadium will both be seen as pioneers. What I REALLY want to see Jones and McNair do is team up and work with each other to get multiple Super Bowls hosted in both stadiums next decade. Because if not, I can't see more than 2 in Texas. It can be done, too. Florida will be hosting 3 Super Bowls in 4 years, and their stadiums don't come anywhere as good as our state's. Perhaps part of the Cowboys' season ticket problem was Texas Stadium itself. I can see a season ticket surge for the Cowboys once the new stadium is up. The Cowboys do not lack a fanbase. If the Texans can play some Texas style football (in other words, win...) Both the Texans and Cowboys can be the #1 and #2 financially highest-worth teams in American sports. Ah yes. The Big Ass of Arlington...
  7. If I'm right, you're saying that because of Gore's comments on the internet in the past, Gore is incompetant on the subject of the eco-system? Like I said before, I can't comment on what Gore knows about the environment particularly because he supposedly put it all on the table in "The Inconvieniant Truth", and I haven't seen it yet. After I see it like the rest of you have, I'll be able to have a better opinion as to if Gore's findings are reasonable or not. I'll try to watch it this weekend to catch up. Also, WTF was up with Captain Planet anyway? He had those four kids with badass rings with Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water, then he had that one left-out kid with a ring called "heart"? Can you imagine him going to a superhero's convention and forcing his way in ranting "Look b*tch, I'm Heart from Captain Planet!"?
  8. That's my favorite episode!!! Remember when he was with the cheerleaders on the field at the sellout Crimson Tide football game?! Fan in the stands: "You're embarassing all 75,000 of us here in the University of Alabama, get off the field..." Bruno: "Vut I'm just dancin'..."
  9. I can't remember; is there a jumbotron in the middle of Texas Stadium?
  10. Jerry Jones did a great job on the stadium design. I'm still curious if those on-field shadows will affect play any. Guess I gotta wait til 2009 to find out like everyone else
  11. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ent/movies/4362201.html With all the Borat exposure, $100 Million in the U.S. Box Office, and all these lawsuits, do you think Sasha Baron Cohen's character Bruno will still be able to pull off the movie in 2008? Remember, even before Borat was in the movie, he was on HBO for at least two years, and hosted the MTV Europe Awards last year as Borat, which is the highest rated award show in the world, yet he pulled it off then. Bruno is also all over HBO, and Sasha Baron Cohen will be on the Barbara Walters 10 Most Fascinating People, so he's all over American tv. What do you think?
  12. From that article: George Mitchell believed in the importance of liberal annexation laws to ensure the future vitality of Texas cities, and he intended to create a community that would one day be part of Houston. He wanted the Woodlands to help Houston rather than to be part of its problems. If that's true, then wussup with this no-annexation deal with Houston? I wasn't aware of this George Mitchell idea of Woodlands until now. Nmain Dude, how much of this article is pure fact, and how much is interpretation?
  13. While we're at it, will the price of milk also ever drop to 99 cents a gallon?...
  14. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2695473 Check this out. Jennings is in the final year of his contract. They better extend his contract now, or this trade will leave SERIOUS eggs on faces, yo.
  15. But Woodlands is Woodlands. Since a part of Woodlands is in a city's ETJ, I thought everything Woodlands would qualify as a part of a city's ETJ. Also, since Conroe purchased a part of Woodlands, wouldn't that mean MORE of Woodlands would be under Conroe's ETJ?
  16. That depends on the buyer. But I see where you're coming from. Yea, I noticed that. That's real annoying, too. There's nothing original. Just duplicated housing projects. Same paint jobs. Same floor plans. Everything.
  17. Think about it this way: Most other countries don't drive as much as they do walk when it comes to navagating throughout the city. We have some kind of stigma to walking. It's like krytonite to us. Yet we gotta walk down a subway in Houston? Down steps? Slow down, yo...
  18. I was curious about that too. If they were able to annex part of it, why would they not be able to annex all? It'd be a political fight, sure, but if I were Conroe, I would have had concerns that Houston would attempt to annex Woodlands first. Perhaps they knew something the public didn't.
