    I agree, it's a distraction...I'll admit, I do glance, but a visitor maybe more inclined to turn their head, which is a concern.

    I don't think it will rival 6th St.....Wash. Ave. will be "hot" for a few years then die. People will look for the next happening scene. Maybe the revival of Richmond or a Warehouse District, East Downtown boom.

    I hope so. I think HH can do a much better job maintining the structure and get started on its much needed repairs.

    Bill, are you they only individial/company that restores home in Eastwood? I think it's great how Eastwood it's slowly returning to its former glory...(I wasn't around in the early 1900's, but I can just imagine how it looked) and love the Craftsman look.

    the two small billboards that once stood at 45 and Telephone are now gone...heehaw! Thanks to Ike, they met their fate sooner rather than later.

    I agree. That's why I also sent them an "nasty" email about that Kroger. Hopefully they'll listen. An upgrade is long overdue.

    I can't believe how each year Frankel's gets more crowded.. Just a few years ago I could park in the front on Halloween. Guess those days are gone.

    Went to Party City (Gulfgate) day before Halloween and had to walk out of there. The place was packed (people). It was the before so, it was an execption. Who knows how business is during off-peak season. But at least it gives me another option closer to home.

    my brother worked for The Met (2001?-2005?)...It's actually nice inside...got a chance to play B-Ball and work out after my brother's shift ended (12am)...had the whole gym to myself..hehe..(wait, forget I said that)
