    Went to Walgreens last night...(had to do some last minute shopping) the lot looked horrible...trash everywhere, poor lighting, it looked unkept. Very sad. They should rebuild a new strip; this time facing Harrisburg (more noticeable when rail comes through).

    Is this Metro's doing?.....I've only been to BB twice this year. I was exciting to finally have one nearby back in 93'....not so much anymore...thanks to cable's 'on demand' services, Netflix, and downloading movies/games.

    Luke's Burgers on 610 near the Galleria also burned....coincidence?

    Luke's had the best fries, their burgers were fantanstic...it's a shame they didn't build another one after it burned down. It was a sad, sad day for me.

    With technology, demographics, population changing so rapidly, who knows, they may have the census every 5 years.

    Maybe having it's own identity will work. It'll lose that UH connection and that's one of the reasons I attended UHD.

    Great shots!...is the white building (hotel?) next to it staying?

    Give it time...how much?..maybe years..but it would at least have some nice landscaping around it and help beautify East Downtown and attract developers....which is better than surface parking and old warehouses..(future apartments/lofts?)...and increase the Buffalo Bayou project awareness to extend eastward.
