  1. Be careful what you call an entire city my friend. Especially when you don't seem to have a clue to the system that Kubiak runs. This is a run first, bootleg pass offense. That is not condusive to Mannings style, at all. The Texans looked very good last year and most agreed that they were only getting better. Why on Earth would you change a system that was working just to get a guy who was possibly done for his career. Know one could have predicted the year he's having. And even if he was healthy it would have been ill advised. Again, you would have to change the entire offensive system.
  2. No question it's better than the previous building, but it does look bland considering Johnson's towers next door. I'm still remaining cautiously optimistic that it will look better once completed.
  3. Agreed... Was at a clients office in Uptown yesterday and just think it's bland in comparison to Post Pak central. Hopefully things will change with the eventual addition of the other two towers. At this point I don't care for it.
  4. Of course there is, however I don't find my comment unkind when dealing with a person who is almost nothing but negative. It's one thing to have a negative day or week, but to barade the forum with posts like this are beyond rediculous. I'm not asking him to jump in a lake, I'm asking him to "go away" until he's got something of value or some sort of positive or constructive thing to say. I think many share my sentiments seeing all of the "likes" I got from the comment. Wasn't going for "likes", but it does say something.

Wow! That Glenbrook home is great for under $200,000. If it weren't so far away from my wifes teaching job, I'd probably jump on it.
  6. My lord... Your posts are painful. Is there nothing more you can add to the converstaion?Personally, I think this is great for the city. The continuing emergence of the Katy/energy corridor is a help to the image of the city. At least where freeway asthetics are concerned. Houstons a big damned city, and thinking that it all should remain inside the loop is ludicrous. It's not the natural condition of it's unique layout.
  7. I was way wrong about the Texans and gladly admit it. I do think Yates threw some really bad balls and was lucky he didn't get what should have been a pick 6 against him. I still don't think they have a good chance against the Ravens unless TJ picks his game up.
  8. Yep. That's something I've learned about over my many years here. My buddy calls it the "Houston jinx."
  9. Spoke with a source, and Gertners should be open by the end of January. possibly a little before.
  10. Did you not read post #81? You know the one that's six posts up?
  11. My Dr is/was on the second floor of the building and has a great birds eye view of the atrium. Really neat place, and well kept.
  12. As profound as your statement is, aren't you contradicting yourself? You stated in several posts above that the tower needed an additional 20 stories.
  13. Eversol, and a lack of new air conditioning sealing the deal for both tennents, should answer the question of whether this is real or not.
  14. I generally don't have much to say here anymore. Just browse a little. Knew what? It wasn't me.
  15. You may not be a rocket, but your deffinately on the moon.
  16. Personally, I think the entire argument is goofy. I was just having some fun at LTAWACS expense. No it's not...
  17. Ok, it's been almost three and a half months since your research was to begin. Can you enlighten us, or do you need more time?
  18. As Red said to you a few months ago: "Your posts make my ears bleed"... Really LTAWACS, you need to halt your false urban elitism comments. They're very unimpressive and make you sound like a baffoon.
  19. LOL! You took the words right out of my mouth. I'm constantly amazed by the anti Christian elitism by many on this forum. The facts are that the homeless around the country would be in far more peril it weren't for the Christian ministries that help them.
