They put up 3 new signs marketing the building along Waugh but removed the previous one stating Summer 2015 completion.

Is this the building under construction at the corner of Montrose or the Finger property? It looks like the corner building from the pics.

Yale Street Market: Retail Center At 195 Yale St.

I'm curious about the deep hole dug on the bayou side of the property. I'm assuming this is some kind of underground drainage tank of some sort. -

Last night I noticed La Branch and Austin were completely dug up around the HCC Central campus. Looks like these pedestrian only streets are happening: http://central.hccs.edu/news/big-change-to-centrals-parking-garage.html -
A reserve site platted many months back suggests they own the vacant lot south of W. Alabama between the Spur, Travis, and the exit ramp. I've assumed this is where a phase II will be.

The view may be changing, but this spot is now an optimum McVantage point. Based on that line, I'd say those Quarter Pounders are flying off the freezer shelf!- 2,416 replies

Rotaries, Roundabouts, and Traffic Circles
skooljunkie replied to Subdude's topic in Traffic and Transportation
I often wish all three signals at the Ella/W. T. C. Jester/W. 18th intersections would be removed and replaced with a roundabout. It would be kind of cool if the Jack in the Box could be salvaged and left in the middle. -
