  1. It almost sounds like the city may want to build a park on the vacant lot that the Savoy sits near: More to come! Source: Link
  2. Ah, so since this is outside of the Woodlands and Houston city limits, then this area does have lower taxes?
  3. It's not that green. It is more tan.
  4. I didn't post the photo but when I went by yesterday, they only had new lumber on site. I've seen excavator movement but nothing substantial. Maybe it all started today...?
  5. Source: Link Exxon set a trend. Expect more news out of this area... Shell.
  6. Completely agree. It will be interesting to see any projects that pop up next to Greyhound. ...Many people on this forum that don't live near the city would be shocked by the amount of growth occurring on the very western edge of Third Ward. There is townhome after townhome being built. I'll be sure to take pictures of it when I drive through there next time.
  7. It's becoming far too common among several users on the forum lately and I'm far from the only person with this sentiment. We all have differing opinion. It's called a forum so that we have a place for discussion. I'm not sure why the added rudeness is necessary.
  8. Street parking is allowed, but most of the residents, including any guests they may have, park on the street and sometimes it can be difficult to find parking. It is dumb though to close it due to parking if true. Although it is closer to the old shotgun homes, all you have to do is park a few blocks down and still get to the same place.
  9. It doesn't matter if they are short residential complexes. Revisions still take place all the time. It's better to wait for the final design closer to groundbreaking day than to fret over a conceptual rendering.
  10. For some reason it seems to be open everytime I go... I don't know...
  11. Looks good That is the Muse on the right side of the picture Since I couldn't find a thread on the Muse, I'll post it here
  12. Small update This is south side of Eleanor Tinsley. I know I've posted this a few times before (at least I think I have on HAIF but I'm too lazy to check) but this bridge connecting to the Police Officer Memorial is really nice and I just can't imagine what this will all look like in the spring and summer.
  13. Oh, I actually liked the red line so I kept it in there.
  14. Looks like you're right. Don't know why they didn't put the light red 2014 line over the black line...
  15. Thanks to Urbannizer for posting the Central Houston pdf! Here's probably the best timeline we've had on all of the projects coming forward! Direct link to image to view all the little details: http://i.imgur.com/2Z26jWT.png
