  1. No, one A/C unit per apartment unit. Two apartment units per balcony with a divider in the center, making it two A/C units per balcony. Edit: Before they put in the dividers, they were one balcony in total. I mean, technically it is still one balcony but that divider separates the units more now.
  2. The Miller Outdoor theatre hill has a great view all around. This one may be a little smaller. It's hard to tell now.
  3. It's going up around the entire building though. I'm guessing it's just going up to protect people below once they put up whatever they need to put up around the scaffolding. Edit: whoops. haha Protect people, not protest people.
  4. Painting the north side. It looks great and I really like it! I actually think this will turn out better than most people are thinking. I wasn't able to get a photo of it on my bicycle but they are actually covering the brick in this beige material (stucco? I don't know).
  5. They just finished installing this this week:
  6. What I was talking about. The other ones aren't marked and I noticed smaller flags all around the site today.
  7. I should hopefully be getting a new camera next week so that there's better quality but this tower of scaffolding is going all the way to the top now if ya'll can tell:
  8. This is seriously a horrendous development for this area. Now most people are wrong in that there aren't other large structures right by it but it is certainly the tallest. The worst part about it is the cheap quality used all around. I watched them put up the fake brick. It looks okay from a distance but it is clearly fake when you walk up to it. I feel bad for Morrison and I hope my neighborhood down the road doesn't start getting crap like this too.
  9. Crane is up! Large amount of construction workers on site with part of Yale shut down.
  10. Funny how a few hours can turn this into a gorgeous day.
  11. Probably the best example we have here. If we truly have a $2 billion project, it could certainly make it the tallest in the United States. Unless it is a multiple block project of multiple buildings... WTC is a special case at $3 billion especially because of security and not to mention it's been in the works for over a decade. Either way, we're just tossing around ideas and won't know until something more comes out.
  12. None. There was caution tape around a tree but I don't know if that's been there the entire time or not.
  13. That would rival the 3,281 ft Kingdom Tower currently under construction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom Tower is set to cost $1.23 billion.
  14. They are clearing the lot between the Shell station and Webster. It is located catty-corner to the Central Bank building. Anyone know what is going in there? Don't have a picture but they had construction crew there today.
  15. Although Houston is still one of the "most affordable" places in the country, many property related items are about to go up thanks to the booming economy in Houston. I've already posted this article on my Facebook page and a lot of my renting friends are distressed about this news... what do ya'll think? Source
  16. Sidewalks are now closed to pedestrians. They are extending the fences all the way to the curbs of the streets.
  17. This should be breaking ground soon, shouldn't it? In other news, MATCH is at 80% funding now.
  18. Well the lot was opened back up today. Most of the driveways are still closed but they do have limited access.
  19. Perhaps. Then again, we never got a rendering of the Savoy Hotel renovation until just a few weeks ago. I don't know.. we shall see in few weeks!
