No, they are separate from the church next door.

This appears to be the new location for the Greater Heights School. They've pretty much topped this out already.

Post Oak Shopping Center At 2019-2521 Post Oak Blvd.

So exciting! I don't know where my post went on this website but I've been saying this for years. This is an absolutely prime spot for higher density. The Container Store would definitely need to look for another place though since this is the only one inside the entirety of Beltway 8. It's more of a big box store that I doubt would want to pay the price of a potentially higher end location. -

Hate to say it but no way there is not serious pushback, if not a lawsuit, against this development.- 51 replies

As someone who travels to Vietnam frequently, this literally looks like any hotel lobby there. So strange.

This should improve traffic in the area. Think about it, you only need a red light when the light rail train is coming through or if a pedestrian signals for one. If it's green every other time, this may improve wait times in the area.

You can see the other slab of concrete already is being washed out from underneath. I know they haven't done it for budgetary purposes but they need to add a wall/bank along the Bayou there.

Now the big question is, what happens to all the land Shipley's owns on N Main. Could potentially be something big for the Heights area.- 222 replies

Sideout Beach Bar is moving across the creek to the WOMH side now. This will be across from it's gravel parking lot.

Do the people on these upper floors not have kids and in-laws? 😅 Because that's exactly who I wanted to bring.

Are they still not allowing people on the skydeck? Is there any secret to get there without getting stopped?

Memorial Park At 6501 Memorial Dr.
Triton replied to themidtownguy's topic in Uptown and Galleria Area
I guess let me clarify, there is still a connection there but it looks more like a lane to get you to the parking area as opposed to a direct road as it is now which sort of surprised me. I hadn't noticed that before. Yea, there really needs to be a better solution here. Would have been cool if they made a small tunnel under the other side of Memorial for the left turn lane to go under or something.
