The restaurant operated at 4747 San Felipe until the COVID pandemic.
  10. @hindesky Good guess, but no. Baltimore's Atlas Restaurant Group has zero involvement with what's planned for 729 W 19th St. Atlas is a cocktail bar in Dallas. Their concept is similar to Houston's Traveler's Table, but with cocktails. Small plated dishes are also on the menu. Based on the architectural barriers project filing you posted above, it appears Atlas will occupy the first and second level. Each level is 2,000 sf. so, it's leasing the entire building. A description of the bar from their website: Atlas is a cocktail bar that transports guests to all corners of the world through specialty drinks that pay homage to different cultures and celebrate diversity. With its Edgar Allan Poe-inspired interiors and sophisticated, low-light decor, Atlas is a refined space where cocktails, design, and culture collide. https://atlasbishoparts.com/ https://www.instagram.com/atlasbishoparts/
  11. There is a discussion on Nextdoor about 19th & Yale (or 19th and Yale,) the mixed-use development planned for 1903 Yale St. As mentioned, the mixed-use will be located on the property of the former Sand Dollar Thrift Store. Some are looking forward to it. There are other who aren't. Those in favor of the development note they like there will be parking garages. Most in opposition of 19th and Yale voice concerns of more traffic and the building's size. https://nextdoor.com/p/Gx_PrjSf8r8r

  16. It seems the name of this apartment development has changed once again. Recent leasing material indicate this luxury apartment development is now going by the name Rone or Rone Residences. Initially, this was named Residences on Westheimer. In a distributed press release last year, the apartments were referred to as River Oaks on Westheimer. Rone Residences is a residential development from High Street Residential. The developer is a residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company. 2311 Westheimer Rd is the apartment's address.
  17. In marketing materials for 2415 Westheimer (the site of the strip center Town West Center), another rendering of Residences on Westheimer / River Oaks at Westheimer (R.O.W.) is depicted. The rendering of R.O.W. shows Luckin Coffee on the ground level. It's a coffeehouse chain from China. It's possible it was included as some sort of retail mockup to market the proposed mixed-use at 2415 Westheimer. Residences on Westheimer / River Oaks at Westheimer is a residential development under construction at 2311 Westheimer Rd. Close up:

  21. There is a post on Nextdoor from a few days ago regarding plans to protest Chaucer. As mentioned, Chaucer is one of the latest condominium developments from the Randal Davis Company. It's planned for 2360 Rice Boulevard. A protest is planned for tomorrow (Sunday, April 7.) It will take place in front of the sales office for Chaucer. Below is the Nextdoor post in full: Protest the Chaucer Building! Go in person to the sales office (they're having Open houses through this Sunday) or come sign a petition starting at 12pm this Sunday, April 7 outside the sales office. We cannot let this happen. This will take two years with huge cranes shutting down traffic and hurting small businesses and restaurants. This isn't even for bringing life to the community, it's for wealthy people that want "pied a terre". In addition, this art deco style building looks like Gringott's Bank (Harry Potter) with a gigantic GOLD front door! Not the look of Rice Village. A building this size (and style) does not belong in our small charming Rice Village. https://nextdoor.com/p/psjWpGqNYSRL
  22. Another rendering of The Sylvie depicted at nighttime. This one is on the restaurant's website. The Sylvie is a Berg Hospitality Group cafe and cocktail bar. It aims to open this summer in Texas Tower. It's located at 845 Texas Ave, Suite 100.

  24. Below is another version of the rendering included in the quoted post. The rendering below includes clear mock signage on the building; whereas a ground floor unit in the one above does not. One ground level retail does have signage but it's blurry. 2415 Westheimer is a proposed mixed-use. The development will consists of boutique offices and ground level retail.
