  1. But if some of those Buildings were Built, and some not, then you would probibly be saying the same thing.
  2. I love this post But, Shouldn't Enron (The entire Allen Center) have good parking because of the super garage they have along 45? Has anyone ever parked below a building Downtown? Its like the Paris Catacombes... Scary! (Louisiana Place)
  3. Yes! Why is everyone complaining about Garages? Yes they suck, but every city needs one. Expecially with a strong Car Cultured city like Houston, Garages are key for us. I don't know about y'all, but I'll take a 13 story Parking Garage over a surface lot any day! And Besides, if more Garages are built, and have cheaper rates (Then say the $16.50 at Central Parking behind 1 Shell Plaza). Then the Surface lots will give in easier to sell.
  4. Seattle's was just built for the World's Fair... Which, like Houston saw Freeways, as Transportation of the future. Las Vegas serves NO purpose, what so ever. There are 2, one that goes from Mandalay Bay to the Luxor and then Excalibur. Then the other line goes from MGM Grand, to The Paris/Bally's.
  5. I think it would be cool if they had Light-Rail on Post Oak Blvd. And go up to Westheimer, then head out west... And from Post Oak Blvd., head Down Memorial to Downtown. That would be wicked. And what does this have to do with Bus Stops? I don't know... I'm just a dreamer!
  6. I saw them take down alot of the water slides already the last weekend Astrworld was open. You could see Waterworld from the "XLR-8". I'm glad alot of the rides will go to Over Texas, its a great park.
  7. I'm glad developers are doing alot of projects like this in and around Montrose. To dense-ify this funky area of town.
  8. JP Morgan Chase is moving alot of its offices out of the JPMCT, and into the building across the street, which is actually owned by them. I think its because the JPMCT is owned by Hines.
  9. Amegy Bank has some offices in 1100 Louisiana right?
  10. I think Washington, Shepard, and Durham are the small lot dealer's central. Its a shame, Up Shepard, inbetween the 610 and 45, its really a cool drive. Alot of 50's architecture and style along there. Like old theatres, strip centers, heck, even that Sears! But there are way too many small used car dealerships along there. Shame...
  11. Nope, just SoDo... only because theres no real developement or real landmark there. Its easy to say "Great projects on Louisiana Street, or the Allen Center, Houston Center, Toyota Center area, etc."
  12. OK! "Diagnol" From Foley's.... SHEESH! HAHAHA! This guy is the reason the train hits people... "I'll bet it!"
  13. Oh cool this project is going to take up all of those stupid surface lots. And its right along with 1301 Fannin! I never thought there would be developement in SoDo in a long time... *And, its right across from Foley's, so I think this project will bring alot to Downtown. Unless the homeless invade it... :\ *And, are they going to plant those (Maple Looking) trees along the street?
  14. You work at 1100 Louisiana from the 33rd floor and never provide us with pictures? are you mad?
  15. Well look at Domion @ Post Oak. The original project (not by EDI) was cancelled. Then when EDI made plans to build a high-rise there, back in 2001, they stoped because of 9/11. It didn't start construction till nearly 3 years later. You can't say a project is a failure, unless the company its-self releases a statement saying that the project is completely cancelled. Or, if the sales office mysteriously dissapears... (Shamrock). And by the way, is this the site of what was suppose to be the Shamrock?
  16. *Redstone is mentioned twice. And there are reasons. There too pricey. They think that only the rich want to live the High-rise life, but its not entirely true. But I can only say that for all but the Shamrock Tower, which had alot of potential.
  17. The Six Flags in Dallas is alot better then San Antonio. They not only have alot more rides, but better ones!
  18. It technically could, not going straight down Main or Fannin, because of Hermann Park, but it could swing around in Montrose, or south along 288, and reach the Medical Center. That would be cool to be in Hermann Park, surrounded by High-rises...
