  4. I know... but I just wanted to say like "Look, The terrorists want to disrupt our lives, and make us scared... your not helping... I just want to take pictures of my home, and whats wrong with home town pride?
  5. Its not funny, I was kicked out of the JPMCT and WFT by the security guards... Because the management doesn't want pictures taken, so I just took as many as I could, for how ever I could run away from them. or from across the street...
  6. Now, I don't use this phrase lightly, in this hollow place, but "Bling Bling M.F."
  7. If the editor had common sence, he would delete the post... The writer of this topic is a "Micheal Moore" of sense. Making us all look bad... Why give Terrorists, OR ANYONE, the idea? And do you remember the report, of what would happen if an atomic bomb went off Downtown? god, just open your arms to these people for ideas. I know they say "To prevent a catastrophe, think like a terrorist..." well don't publish it out for the world to see, and think about... So stupid to even show anyone other then the FBI or Port Authority... Next, they'll give out a perfect flight plan for one of the many Southwest Airplanes to just turn a little bit instead of landing at Hobby, and crashing it into the Chase or Wells Fargo Tower... This is so obserd...
  8. I don't think Corpus has the capability to handle the excess...
  9. Those landmarks are (well not nyc) hundreds of years old... and serve a major purpose... Why pay for such a huge structure that isn't being used, and throwing money out the window? If the Empire State building's leases ever got emptied (back then) I'm sure it would have been empolded... or if the Capitol moved from DC, what purpose would they serve? nothing... but they did, and thats why there still here today.
  10. This is grand news for us! Not only getting a giant distrubuting plant from Wal-Mart, but more ties to East Asia! Asia, (Specifically China), is growing so much, and everyone wants a "slice of the pie". And I guess we got ours...

  12. Ok, ok, I will try to put up a few tomorrow from a friend's location, my internet is nothing now...
  13. I'm terribly sorry for the Delay (yes I know your all on the edge of your seats, blah blah...) But my Internet is messing up, and I have a technition coming out tomorrow, to help fix the problem. Please BEAR with me, I won't leave you disapointed, I promise...
  14. I'd have to agree with everyone, the women here are probibly the most attractive then some other cities. Maybe thats why were Strip Club Capital USA! (you can be proud and loud, or ashamed and discreet). LA, NYC, Milan, Paris (etc) have always been known for there High-Fashion sencibility, but who really sees the clothes they wear on the run-way, when your doing about your everyday life? Houston has many stores with "hip" clothing, or the lastest trends, but what is distinctivly Houston apperal? I think its just about everything. And the Galleria opening up new stores only throws more flavor (for lack of a better word) into the mix.
  15. We can thank the Chinese for them and there Booming (not to mention them rubbing it in our faces) economy.
  16. Why don't they just develope east of Downtown, or "SoDo" ?

  18. I took alot of pictures of the ball park, and the WINNING game today. I have to say, the atmosphere was amazing... The game was awesome!
  19. I flew into Houston this thursday, and will be at the Baseball game on Saturday. I spent the better part of today taking massive pictures of the Light Rail, Downtown, Midtown, The Medical Center, Hermann Park, The Tunnel System, The Heights etc. I have taken over 500 pictures on my Digital Camera (Sorry, It was a BEAUTIFUL DAY!) and I will "waste" the remaining 100 at MMP tomorrow. So be prepared to see Houston in a whole new way...
  20. Its not too panoramic... Its nice, but what would have made it better, is if it was taken more from the South East. To get all the buildings on Post Oak and 610 in the picture.
  21. I wish the orignal Domion @ Post Oak would have been built. It looked alot better then this one, although it is still very nice. Always glad to see more and more Residential projects in Uptown, to "fill in the gaps".
  22. The've been playing pretty good this season. I was watching the sunday game, and they kind of slacked off in the 4th inning and forward... Maybe they where just tired? But some of the mistakes, could have been prevented...
