Gordon Food Services out of Michigan bought Houston based Glazier Food Service several years ago. Gordon Food Service Store has grocery stores that sells to individuals. They primarily sell to restaurants and institutions but have created these stores for individuals too. They have 2 stores opening in Houston and League City. They took over the Glazier distribution warehouse on the BW 8 north loop. https://www.gfs.com/en-us https://gfsstore.com Architects...... https://www.intarch.com

Has anyone heard anything about this project? Doesn't seem like a lot of money if the plan is to convert the whole building. https://www.arc-3.com

The trail near the edge of the East River will eventually link up to the rest of the north bank trail. It currently ends under the west side of the Jensen street bridge due to the construction going on there. I had to find a Bike Tag there once. East River trail.

WestMont: Mixed-Use Development Coming To Montrose
hindesky replied to groovehouse's topic in Going Up!
I assume they work in their local office when not at the job site and during company planning meetings. I'm just repeating what he told me. I also asked him about the the lots across the street from 1550 On The Green and he said those could be an office building and the other a hotel and either condo's or apartments on the upper levels, like The Allen is. Tommy is a real nice guy and easily approachable. I've talked with him a couple of times. He also told me he gave one of the tenants of One Park Place his cell # and she has called him several times asking when the pile drilling was going to finish. It was very loud and I guess she was tired of listening to all the noise.- 697 replies

WestMont: Mixed-Use Development Coming To Montrose
hindesky replied to groovehouse's topic in Going Up!
I talked with Tommy the superintendent of the 1550 On The Green when he was setting up the water filled barriers on the street. Asked him when Westmont would start and he told me they are finallizing plans but also said it would be a while before they decide.- 697 replies

It's connected to the north bank bike trail and one block from the the Heights trail. As Midway works to finish their portion the trail will go right to the East End project.
