"On March 16, the Chicago Bears announced that they had hired the Kansas City, Missouri-based MANICA Architecture to design their new stadium at the former Arlington International Racecourse site. While no estimated opening date or budget have been made public yet, MANICA is no stranger to football stadium design, having worked on the Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium in Nevada." https://www.archpaper.com/2022/03/daily-news-chicago-bears-select-architect-for-new-stadium-sanctuary-open-in-times-square-next-month/

Memorial Park At 6501 Memorial Dr.
hindesky replied to themidtownguy's topic in Uptown and Galleria Area
The drone belonged to a Memorial Conservancy employee. I saw him putting it in back in it's case once and talked with him for a while. -
Oakland A's let him go and "La Rata" is now playing in the Mexican League.

Someone pointed out to me that this can happen in the Audubon Place Historical Neighborhood because it is just out of the boundary map at the alley.

At Oliver St crossing north track, I saw it on the south track heading west bound but here it is heading eastbound. I'm guessing the north track veers northward towards Chicago.

This building on Montrose has been slowly removing the brick and now an excavator his finishing off the building. It's considered part of a Houston Historical District- Audubon Place and will have to be rebuilt according to standards set by the district. When I first moved here the area wasn't a Historical District but a few years after it became one. Before that we had 4 townhome complexes go in. After it became a Historical District any new homes have be built to that standard and 2 have. Edit: The Historical District Map shows it's a non contributing lot, I wonder if that will change what can or cannot be built.
