  1. Still a lot of stuff to remove from the back portion of the property. The roof on the bigger building looks to be in really good shape. Saint Arnold's is going to greatly benefit from the project.
  2. Cherry Company workers don't know what will be built here but they did say they are leaving the concrete floor.
  3. "In plans filed with Clark County, Fertitta Entertainment outlined its vision for a 6.2-acre site at Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue that includes gaming, a 2,240-room hotel, bars and eateries, convention space, a spa, an auto showroom and, in true Vegas style, a wedding chapel and a high-roller gambling lounge and bar." https://www.bisnow.com/houston/news/home/houston-billionaire-hopes-to-make-a-splash-on-the-las-vegas-strip-with-43-story-hotel-and-casino-project-115727
  4. I would contact your council member in either District C or H depending on where you live.
  5. They didn't waste anytime, they just got the demo permit yesterday. I didn't know it was a church because it looked like it had a drive up window. Might have been for drive up tithing.
  6. "The work of Kevin Daly Architects, Productora of Mexico City and TLS Landscape Architecture, this modern structure will launch a new era for the endowment, which just finished moving from its longtime office space on the 64th floor of the JPMorgan Chase Tower. One more in a series of modern office and residential towers, this new Houston Endowment is a signal that — at least architecturally — Houston has taken another big step into a new age." https://www.houstonchronicle.com/lifestyle/home-design/article/Houston-Endowment-building-17487069.php
  7. Based on this render it looks like 8-10' of landscaping next to the curb, +-8' sidewalk and about 5' of more landscaping. Also the main driveway is on Lovett St.
  8. All buildings are down and being loaded out. 20th St. is under construction and closed to traffic so trucks are having to use 21st St. which is super narrow.
  9. Looks close to opening. Hand railings are staged in two areas but not yet by the culvert. Worker is roughing up the concrete for the center stripe paint.
  10. Saw a guy waiting in the parking lot, turns out he is overseeing this project for Fairfield and was waiting for a fence company to enclose the lot. He said this will be a 5 story wrap around a 7 story parking garage that will be cast-in-place. He is hopping to not use a tower crane due to the limitations of Oliver St. being very narrow. Edit: Demo is supposed to start late November or early December.
