  1. I think this location used to be GSMA offices. I recall seeing permits for it. Looks like they moved in to the 2 story building on 3815 Montrose Blvd which is going to be Clark's. https://www.gsmarchitects.net
  2. Just as I suspected Fairfield is going to use the little lot between the townhomes and Jack In The Box for their construction trailers. It was part of the purchase of the Women's Houston Center property.
  3. So I saw a Texas Department of Transportation worker at the old Mexican Consulate site on San Jacinto/Caroline St. that the TX Dot now owns. He was cutting the lock on it and replacing it with another one. He said whoever put it on didn't tell anyone the combination to it. The worker worked for the maintenance division. I asked him when they were going to start on the project but he said he didn't know a timeline. I asked if this will be a lay down yard and he said no it will be part of the new highway and they now one several parcels in the area. I then asked him about the highway dividers at Graffiti Park and at the site along the feeder by Commerce St and Canal. He confirmed they put them there. He also said lots of people had complained about both sites with people parking in them at both sites. Complaints about people burning their tires at both and dumping trash and abandoned cars/trucks at both, so they installed the barricades. He also said Sekai didn't have permission to use it for parking their customers cars so they closed the circle at Graffiti Park. He also said companies were using them to valet park peoples cars which they had no permission to do. He also said they are going to place dividers on the block north of Graffiti Park.
  4. When I went by the site all the workers where in a safety stand down due to a high pressure gas leak. It was really loud so I made a little video of it. All the streets around it were blocked off and HFD was going to cap it off.
  5. Saw two different companies erecting barricades and fencing off the whole block which is now a surface parking lot. First guy was from United Rentals and he was filling the barricades with water. He said this was being done for Hensel Phelps which is a large construction company started in Greely, Colorado. The other crew was at lunch but when I came back later they were from Sunbelt Rentals. The one Sunbelt guy said this was going to be a parking lot for robotic self driving cars and nothing is going to be built here. https://www.henselphelps.com
  6. 5 story apartment over 3 story parking garage and 3 levels underground. 215 units. Architect - https://gff.com
  7. Sign is up, "Koi", talked with a guy out front and asked him when it will open, he raised up 10 fingers, so I take that to mean May 10th.
  8. From Houston Historic Salvage Warehouse.
  9. Like every other gas station we post on, this one is taking forever to open.
