    I wonder how the application process works for the affordable units in the apartments? I imagine there will be no shortage of applicants.

    Reading the article it didn't necessarily mention the move was because the park wouldn't be ready. The article actually mentioned that they will still have events at the park during SB. As far as backdrop goes root square park and the DT skyline are better IMO,

    My only complaint is I wish that they would have stuck with the same dark brown brick that's on the bottom throughout the building. The light brown brick looks too much like stuco... lovely building though!

    Noticed that the first week they were installed. There are also spots where the railing is bent already.

    This one and The Capitol tower are slightly upgraded suburban office towers. Not every tower will be 50+ feet but I little creativity would be a plus.

    Even more disappointing is that it doesn't even live up to the revised renderings much less the original ones. I think 75% of my displeasure is with that tired ass beige color.

    I was never a fan of the capiotl tower design to begin with. Just kind of another glass box.

    I remember talking about this HUGE block as game changing....that's of course before seeing the plans..still nice but not game changing.

    They should redisgn the tower to have a huge hole in the middle at eye level of the pool to keep the view

    I've been hoping for years that they would put a power washer to the roof... it used to be bright white now it just makes they stadium look older

    That view of DT from the pool will be amazing... going to be a shame to lose it once that 40 story apartment building gets built..

    Don't forget that the festivities start 10 days before the game so even if they open on the first they're missing out a little..

    Anyone else imagining the planned hotel on top of the Houston First building?? Weren't we suppose to hear a brand for this a while back?

    Can you say where the two options are? I wouldn't be a fan of them moving out to the suburbs. Why not build where their practice facility is currently?

    I can totally understand people not liking Josh innes, but I literally can not listen to the triple threat. If that show was on any other station but 610 it would crash and burn.
