Nothing wrong with the "King of Beers" ! You can wallow in state and civic pride also, as it is made here in Houston. I recommend Budweiser Select, BUT, get some Shiner Bock and that Dos XX green, make sure to provide limes with it, just to mix it up a bit.

I would think COST of production would be a main factor, and also trying to pump some money into the economy there. I would need to know what the scenes and the movie were about in order to give a better opinion as to what they were trying to convey.

A little story about Gringo's you may not know about. The original name for Gringo's was to be Pinche's, TRUE STORY ! The City of Webster said, "NO WAY JOSE !", for obvious reasons, so Gringo's was the substitute. The original owner was the owner of The Mason Jar. He REALLY wanted that name.

Los Cucos can do it all for about $250-$275, that's chicken and beef, beans, rice, flour tortillas, corn chips, red sauce, green sauce, cheese dip, pico, guacamole, sour cream. They may even throw in plates and utensils. I usually serve 20-22 for $160. I don't know if that is a SPECIAL deal for us, because we buy all the time, but they do a good joband seem reasonably priced.

This would be an "undiscovered" part of Sugarland really, but there is a nice little Italian Restaurant called Nick's on FM1464 just down a peace from Austin High School. Delicioso !!!

DUde, I just realized that you haven't seen the car since I put the new engine and new exhaust system in. It's a Beast.....A BEAST I TELL YOU ! I almost have to idle out of my neighborhood in the morning. LOL!

Gosh, thanks . You and Musicman made me feel special. I am just glad it is over. Went to beach with the family, didn;t get to stay long cause I had to come back and take care of some customers. Oh Well !!!

They completely gutted the Ninfa's Westheimer & Briarwest location. I'm not sure what that guy means by adding fresh tomatillo to the green sauce. Little green tomatoes have always been oven roasted and shredded into the sauce, Big red tomatoes were prepared the same way for the red sauce, that is why you see little black bits in the sauce. At least that was how it was done when I managed for Ninfa's back in the mid 90's. -
That's because the rest of America isn't lucky enough to have lived here. Citykid, I think Atlanta is a S#!TThole, and I would never live there, does it mean I am right ? If people are going judge a place by it's airport, then more power to them, but thankfully they won't come here to try and dumbdown the rest of us. BTW, The Republican thing is not an "act", it is the only way to truly have freedom. You can go conform all you like in Georgia, just don't try to infect us with your Socialist politics.

How's about a cab ride, as opposed to long term parking. What is the cost difference and the feeling of security that your car is safe at home ? Isn't it like a flat $45 to the airport, I don't know where you live of course, so maybe not ? Gnu, don't you have ONE friend that would take you to the airport ?

Well, they are saying homesites. Even if they are Townhomes, 8 per is huge, and you still need a management office, clubhouse, workout center, pool area ? I just don't see it, unless they have more real estate in the immediate area.

80 homes on 10 acres ??? Geez Louise.........Hi Neighbor !!! You'll be able to read your neighbor's newspaper in the morning, just look over his shoulder at the breakfast table. They must have more land already purchased adjacent to this piece in order to accomodate the space needed for such a project.

No Pookrat, that would be "gender" or "sexist" biased, but that would be laughed out of court for lack of evidence as I am sure there would be BOTH genders in the club at the time you were told that badnews. Understand that you just didn't have the "look" they wanted in their club. Besides, would you want to go to a club that played silly games like that in the first place ? I will take my business elsewhere, but, in over 20 years of going to clubs in this town, I can't remember when I have ever been denied entrance, except maybe once at a midtown club, over my SHOES. I told the bouncer to go get the owner, who I knew was inside because I had just gotten off the phone with him, and the bouncer said, "I don't have to get the owner, besides he is busy." I called the owner myself on the phone and asked him to step outside. He did, and asked, "what's the problem ?" I told him to, "look at my shoes.", the owner said, "Wear better shoes next time Jackass." and we walked in together and he bought me a couple of drinks.

Scott, the last house in that link is my 1978 Ranch style with Contemporary ceilings and atrium. Master bedroom also has same ceilings and a master bath w/Roman tub and his and hers "walk-in" closets on either side of the bath. VERY CHIC! Huge living/family room with fireplace brick from floor to rafters, and you can see the formal dining through the atrium, so I can watch the TV while we eat, very 80's.

Don't be so naive, you can get stabbed in a bar in the Galleria area. I am living proof of that. It never made the papers , nor does it have a "stigma" for such goings on.
