  1. Sorry we missed the playoffs, and we missed it by not beating teams we could and should have, or we had the lead up til the end and blew it. Perhaps next year will be the playoffs, and I feel confident that it will be a distinct possibility. We'll get a couple of more pieces to the puzzle in the draft this next year, and it will be GAME ON !!!
  2. All this , and we can't make it into the playoffs, no matter WHAT !!! Agony.......aaaaaaaa.......ggggoooooo........nnnyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!
  3. The OLD Meyerland Plaza was really nice to go to in the 70's. I distinctly remember going to a restaurant with family all the time and there was a toystore a couple of doors down. I saw a few movies in that theater back then also. I also remember before they built ALL the new stuff there like Kmart and Bed, Bath & Beyond, that they had converted the old buildings into a huge antiques flea market of sorts, and it also was a fun place to go shop.
  4. I missed the whole friggin game because I was trying to put my BEAST back together, stupid shift linkage !
  5. Now we got a new "Big Bat" we need to focus on a little pitching now and Detroit has a new free agent, Chad Durbin.
  6. Yeah, it's mostly older Chinese men in their 70's. They like the trunk space for their golfclubs. As soon as these geezers start keeling over like the market here has, the Buicks will cool off.
  7. I can tell you what happened. It is all my fault. I was selfish and went to the Autorama today, then went and saw the Aeros lose. I didn't watch the game, and THAT is why we lost today. I apologize, I won't let it happen again.
  8. I am sensing a playoff berth for our boys in Red White and Blue. We got one of our BIG GUNS back and I just have to ask. Has anyone ever seen a WR more open than AJ ont hat TD pass ? AJ looked like 7/11.......... open 24/7.
  9. Too bad we can't face Beckham and his no goal scorin' arse ! Would have been some nice press for Houston.
  10. That's because the any team that the Cowboys have a really tough time beating, they don't see them as a rival, they see them as somebody they DON'T want to play, thus they try to forget about them, i.e. The Houston Texans.
  11. Yep, nothing like some good ol' "torque steer" to throw you into a ditch, huh ? I'm just saying, I can't recall seeing a whole heck of alot of FWD racecars out there.
  12. I used to go to the Northwest mall location as a kid. I still remember the pink brown and white stripes decor and an icecream barge called the "Pig Trough" or something like that ?
  13. Because it is like saying "an amazing military strategy that almost killed Osama Bin Laden today."
  14. Plumber, you sound like you might be a closet Exibitionist as opposed to someone who has no sense of modesty.
  15. I will agree that there was a little "hometown" refereeing goin' on. You gotta adapt and overcome. Red's take on the Redzone is dead on, and why try to stretch your arms into the endzone when you got 3 defenders around you, and you are gonna fall in anyways ? Rookie mistake on Davis's part, but the guy is still ACES in my book.
  16. Figuratively speaking Jax. Traditional Family roles apparently will not be taught anymore, as they will be a taboo subject, as NOT to cause anymore confusion for the minority that this bill is intended for. .........OR, abuse of other men in front of children, accidently ? More so when children are NOT present though. I recall going to the YMCA several times in the 70's, and EVERYONE had swimtrunks on, so the practice must have ended in the mid to late 60's. Subdude, don't tell me you NEVER heard of THIS song ?
  17. And NOW...........Gov. Terminator has outlawed the use of the words Mother and Father in schools, and allowing transexual or gender-confused and homosexual students use the lockeroom or bathroom of their choosing in California ? How the hell is THAT gonna fly with the parents ? This might be the norm in Austria, and sexual tensions might not have been so volatile in the 60's, but there has GOT to be a line SOMEWHERE ?
  18. You guys want to get beat TWICE by the same team in one season ? WOW !
  19. There are just as many ANTI-Cowpie fans as there are actual fans in this town, that is a contributing factor to the big ratings. I will quote the "Real Men of Genius" Budweiser guys. "Houston has two favorite football teams, the Texans, and ANYONE who beats Dallas!"
  20. I think everyone in the stands actually missed TJ getting flipped in the air by TG, because everyone had just witnessed Faggins getting "welcomed to the NFL" by a brickwall. They never showed the replay to us either. Nobody around me saw Trent go down like that, and the play happened right in front of me, and when the smoke cleared on that play, everyone around was like, "what happened to that guy ?" There were some real wrecks going around on that field yesterday. Both teams were playing very hard for the win.
  21. The Texans stunk up the joint Sunday. A couple of bad calls from the officials didn't help either. Faggins is still getting beat. From now on I will refer to Faggins as "Toast", because he is forever getting burned. I really thought my guys were gonna pull it out, when Sanders and Milloy got into it. Spectacular catch by Davis for the TD. He is shaping up into just as good a weapon as Johnson. Texans failed to capitalize in the Red Zone, and to shank a field goal at the end of the game ? WTF ? Poor or Lack of Leadership in the Red Zone is what killed us. Well, I'll be at the game this coming Sunday against Miami, to get a firsthand look at our guys, who knows, maybe I'll bring my pads and helmet, just in case ?
  22. They are having to go DEEP into the Roster, but I feel confident that the Texans can handle the Falcons this week. Mario and the boys will have to put some pressure on the QB this week.
  23. Real good game against the SuperBowl champs, despite a couple of miscues. No.44 for Indy just ate our lunch yesterday, as he does against most teams. Faggins actually played pretty good "D" against Harrison yesterday also. The fact that the Texans never gave up, and the unity they showed when theirfellow player was down shows me that they are truly a TEAM. I anticipate them being in the playoffs this year. The Texans ARE capable of beating ANY team out there right now. BTW, Killings is moving his arms and legs now, his teammates are saying he has almost ALL his strength back. GOOD NEWS !
  24. For some reason I remember there being a Chuck Wagon in front of the Dillard's there at the Galleria. It is now a "420 Head Shop" or "Zone D' Erotica". but before it was a Roy Roger's restaurant and before that I feel certain that it was a Chuck Wagon in the 70's.
