They do this in many places. In fact, there was an ice skating rink in front of the downtown Foley's for several years in a row in the late 90's/early 2000's. I've even seen a rink on the beach in San Diego.

I got an email from Texans president Jamey Rootes pleading with Texans fans to understand their point of view. I quoted it below. Luckily he also requested feedback, I've provided mine. If you'd like to provide yours, here is the email: fanfeedback@houstontexans.com

Kingwilliam, please get off Trae's back. He's a regular here and has been for a long time. You're new, we don't appreciate new guys coming in and belittling, arguing, talking down, etc. to anyone. This board is for intelligent exchanges of information and opinions.

Did y'all see the tackle the cop put on this guy when he was running away? They showed it real well on Channel 2. This cop looked like a linebacker coming full speed at a QB, but without the pads! It was awesome!

Whole Foods Market At 15900 Southwest Fwy.
ProHouston replied to ProHouston's topic in Points Southwest
I went last night for the "soft" opening. Wow! It was packed! The place is really nice and the layout is great. Even the outdoor area and indoor/outdoor restaurant are very well done. I look forward to shopping here frequently. But yes, it is a bit pricey. -
I heard a new spanish station on 104.9 yesterday and got real nervous. However, after a little work on the internet I found out that Party 104.9 moved to 93.3 on your local dial. Does anyone know why they moved frequencies? This always seems like a bad idea.

I believe it's going to be some sort of furniture store. I read about it somewhere, just can't remember where.

Here is a nice video from Fox 26 on the 2007 Christmas Tree Lighting at Town Square if you couldn't make it out. Christmas Tree Lighting

I was definitely more confident than when Tracy pulls up for an untimely jumpshot. I think you should always go to the hole in that situation so I was thrilled to see Stevie (anybody really) do it. Even if you miss, you'll usually get a foul called. That's why you do it. I was actually hoping for a 3 point play but we ended up not needing it. It was a classic "Stevie" shot, a little higher on the level of difficulty than needed, but hey, he made it. I'd like to see more of that kind of leadership on this team.

Stevie Stevie!!! Driving to the hole and making things happen. I love it. Plus, Adelman showed him the confidence to stay with him to the end in a tight game!

Heavily Wooded Lots Tend To Have Higher Prices
ProHouston replied to ekarl17's topic in Other Houston Neighborhoods
People love trees. Not only are they attractive but they lower energy costs and allow families to spend much more time outdoors. It's hard to meet the trend towards outdoor rooms without a good tree cover to shade the area and make it comfortable. -

134-Acres Purchased For Mixed-Use Development In Sugar Land
ProHouston replied to lockmat's topic in Points Southwest
Probably your typical suburban development. It's not dense enough out there for a true "mixed use" concept. -
No, Sherman didn't coach the Packers to the Super Bowl, actually he had a poor (2-4 I think) record in the playoffs. Let's hope that he can do much better at the college game. One thing is for sure, he's definitely and Aggie-type coach. He loves Aggieland and all that it stands for. Fran never quite got it.

1 huge 38-30 Aggie football win over the Longhorns... done. 1 huge win Aggie basketball NIT Tip-Off championship win... done. 1 lame duck, underperforming coach stepping down... done. What a great day for Aggie sports!!!!

It's only a warning for the first month. I believe the grace period ends around December 4th.

Great game by the Dynamo! They are a true winner. Here's an interesting fact... the Rockets, Comets, and Dynamo each followed up their first championship with a back-to-back championship.
