There are 35 floors in the picture. Each connection to the tower crane is ten floors up.

I don't really need them to spell it out in the marketing materials. This hotel will be much higher, have a retractable roof, a rooftop lobby/bar/restaurant, and is going to cost a lot more to build. Sounds more luxurious to me. -
I believe they are still working on the 36th floor.

Hotel Sorella is not a 5 star. Icon is not a 5 star. I don't mean this by my perceived quality, they just aren't rated 5 star. -

Pizza in Houston
kbates2 replied to Nakatosh's topic in Houston Area Dining, Shopping and Entertainment
Frank's is very good. I have had Piola twice with one hit and one miss. Pizza le Vino is a new delivery place that will deliver you wine as well. I have had it about 4 times and it was pretty awesome. -

What a disaster. He should never be in at that point in a big game.

As per the renderings,, I think they just look so nice with the new views. I think we would all prefer the extra height.

I assume it is probably closer to #3. Most of the highrises we have seen going up cover the full block for a number of levels and then have a skinny portion rise up higher. If they decided to go from 12 stories to 21, they probably are not going up with the full block. They may have even lowered the full block portion to the 8 levels we heard of earlier. I could see an 8 story pedestal with the taller portion going up 21.

It does look fantastic even without the sun. I would still go there. I would even take the scoliosis from those loungers.- 1,224 replies
