I don't think the design is gong to change much, they have far more detailed renderings than this out there. -

Retractable roof? Sweet. Balls. I hope they don't spend a ton of money building it though just to keep it closed to enhance the atmosphere. -

Underground concert venue with a sloping entrance/open on once side. Amphitheater on top as planned.

Yes, I mean it should currently be right around the 400' point with ten stories to go.

This should be right around the important 400 foot barrier to make it's way on to the Tallest in Houston Wikipedia page. Another 130 or so feet to go. (this is based on a rumor that it would be taller than OPP).

Has anybody noticed the general commercial that has the skyline all altered in the background?

It was open on Saturday at 9 am. First time that I saw the little side area open. It is so well done. They have motion sensors that turn the little fountains on.

Maybe they are just crazy hours. I am at a client this week and not seeing it until around 6 each day. It was closed every time. Last week, it was closed every day when I walked by at 8 am and when I walked home at 5:30.

I have several OxBlue webcams on my toolbar for chrome that I click on once a day, this being one. Is there any way to find these for projects? I always just hear about them on this board.

Everybody should be excited or disappointed to know that they are removing the open sky walk extension from the side of the building right now. Check it out in the skyhouse webcam: http://oxblue.com/open/SkyHouseApartments. They took off the bottom part on Friday and are taking off the top part right now.

A lot of the closest parking is by permit only during peak times. Still, there are large surface pay lots within a few blocks.

I saw it was open today for a few hours too. It was only the second time I have been inside, you have come up incredibly lucky Triton. A neighbor told me they have been disallowed from opening due to a lack of public parking. Ridiculous if true.

Son of a B. I need to try to post earlier. ^^^ This rendering does blow. I live in Camden City Centre in midtown. I like the design of these. Other than that, every Camden seems to suck for one reason or another.

Glad Lockmat said that. I didn't hate the rendering and started to feel like quite the jackass for not hating it.- 1,894 replies

This is still not open 2 months later. I live a few feet away and have seen the gates open one time ever for the 'grand opening'. It is still nice being able to use the outside lawn of the park, but I really would love to check out the inside.

They did an excellent job of purposing this land for volleyball and soccer. The volleyball courts are generally a consistent puddle on top of a small section of sand and they even have a part of a soccer goal. No development for cricket yet. If they are really keeping this lot tax free by the work they did last year, then 'scam' is without a doubt the proper description.
