  1. Saw them the other night, I personally hated them. Gorgeous building that is one of our most beautiful at night. I didn't think it needed a change.
  2. I am a BHS head as well. Feel free to tear down that whole building. Loved the school but it is hideous.
  3. I am a BHS head as well. Feel free to tear down that whole building. Loved the school but it is hideous.
  4. I heard today that the project is still in no way a guarantee.
  5. Anybody know what the status is with Phase II of Scout Square? I haven't seen anybody working on the inside for a while. I like the outside a lot.
  6. That mixed with the work they are doing to the EDGE makes walking down there fun. Almost as fun as trying to drive down it.
  7. I live next door. If I see GOAT in there tagging it, I am going to end him.
  8. You will probably need that sidewalk to get to the new retail.
  9. Not too much. The post midtown phase III only covers one side of the building and not the entire block. I am guessing it would be enough for a restauant or two and a couple of small stores.
  10. Jos. A Bank in the Park Shops has a sign on their door that says, "We Have No Change, No Phone, No Restroom". Thought it was pretty funny. I hate the bums in midtown that 'help' you park your car, regardless of how easy it is to fit in a spot, then ask for money to 'protect' it. What a joke.
  11. I live in midtown and I don't want them there. Many of my friends live in midtown and they don't want them there.
  12. The massive lot located on Studemont between Allen Parkway and Dallas (as the title suggests) had fence posts going in this morning all around it. Any idea of what is going on here? Seems like a pretty money spot. Hopefully that picture comes up,
  13. Lived there in 2525 Prospect for a few years. Our neighbors were all really nice and we were the only white/hispanic people who lived on the block. We probably pissed them off a bit as we were either still in college or just graduating when we lived there, which meant a ton of cars and some parties, but overall it was good. We had a garage apartment in the back that didn't have a locking downstairs, so everything that we would put in there would disappear, but that was about the worst of it.
  14. Phase II or Phase III? Phase III would be the one that was planned to start first. West of the existing structure and north of Kipling.
  15. I live right next to that strip center. For the first week after Nancy's Friday retail report, they were inside that location nightly starting renovations. They have not been back since. No clue what is going on.
