hindesky 46515
That is a different project. You are referring to the project in the link below... I think there is a thread somewhere on here that needs to be dug up and updated. EDIT: Here is the link to the Elan Memorial Park by Greystar http://www.houstonarchitecture.com/haif/topic/28546-elan-memorial-park-by-greystar/?p=491611You're right I had the two mixed up. BigFootsSocks 3179
Because it used to be pretty flat in that area now there's a lot rising. Weird in a good way.

WestUdweller 126
Not only is it the biggest thing on Washington in the Rice Military area (or all of Washington period?) but it truly is a massive apartment building. It is tough for me to tell there is still supposed to be mixed use though?
BigFootsSocks 3179
It looks like that would be the perfect retail setup, but I think it's offices and space for the apartments

WestUdweller 126
Can't decide whether I like it or not... I can see it from my rooftop a few blocks away. Actually like the color scheme chosen, I just hate siding in general though. The El tiempo a block away is about to get way more crowded

InTheLoopFromNYC 75
WestUDweller, I'm with you, can't decide, but overall probably favorable since it doesn't have the cookie cutter midrise (shades of taupe, stucco) going up all over Houston and could have been a lot worse (low bar). Not a big fan of siding either, but like the dark treatments here. I wish they had gone for first floor retail like Elan Memorial Park, going up just west on Washington. Traffic on Washington is about to get really bad!!!

hindesky 46515
Approaching from the east side, looks like the tower crane might be gone. South side fronting Washington Ave. definitely looks like the crane is gone And yes the tower crane just came down, they were wrapping things up. Circle 8
