hindesky
Saw a crane on site went to investigate. Ended up talking to a couple of Vaughn workers. They said the crane didn't have enough stick and counter weight to do the required lifts. The hand railings on the south side will be replaced. Vaughn is also the GC of the TMC3 and they said it will be starting up very soon.

HoustonBoy
I love it. These buildings, if ever built, could easily be some of the most recognizable towers in Texas. I'm really digging the helipad

nate4l1f3
I’ve been burned soo many times my first reaction to seeing the pictures was it will be built, but not in this form/design. 🤷🏻♂️

Gonna take TMC 10+ , 150+ m towers to rival Downtwon Htown. But I would say rn it's around 3rd or 4th biggest skyline in Texas. Should move up to 2nd or 3rd in the coming years, especially when some of these skyscrapers are finished. But damn is it impressive how many high rises Houston has.TMC/Uptown alone, could be a medium-large cities' skyline by itself. While Downtown is just on another level of size. This doesn't even count everything else in-between.

J Money
Maybe not so baby... if it gets built, then it looks like it would be a 12 story podium with ~40 floors above. That could make it comparable to 609 main in height. IF the one on the right got built as shown, it would be edging into supertall territory. I don’t know anything about this project, and don’t know how much those models accurately reflect what TAMU has planned for the site.

Popular Post texan
Here is the latest Texas A&M Board of Regents agenda packet with some big implications for the rest of this property. $625,000,000 public-private partnership. I know hospitals are expensive but even for a hospital that much money has to build a pretty massive building. http://assets.system.tamus.edu/files/bor/pdf/AgendaArchive/2019-08Reg/RegBinder2019-08.pdf 12
TheSirDingle
Seems like the design we saw isn't to theoretical, and might be close to the final design? If both of these get built, it will drastically change the TMC skyline. Just an absolute insane amount of money being shelled out on this product.
