    What do you mean? Do you feel its location(Next to DG) demands a bolder design, or you don't like modern architecture in general? Sure it's a glass box with wind turbines on top, but i've always liked a modern feel, and i think that area of Downtown needs modern buildings. And im happy this is even getting built. All thanks to a park!

    Also, does anybody have a rendering for the project. When i joined, i was under the impression that this would never get built, so i never looked into it. But since its approved, i want to see what all the fuss is about. Don't feel like looking through 28 pages....Thanks

    Wow, first picture i've seen with both construction projects.(MainPlace, and Hess/Disco Tower.) This is an awesome picture.

    I hope they do buy it. Only 2 hospitals serving the un-insured in Houston is not enough. Ben Taub and LBJ arent enough. (Besides the health centers and clinics.)

    Oh yeah, i saw that. Interesting that they go to the Houston Zoo. Any major city has one, so at least do something that only Houston can offer.

    Discuss the 1st question: How far do you think the Houston Texans will go? The other 2 questions are just to see if HAIF'ers have confidence in them, and if they're fans. I personally think the Texans can make the playoffs.

    I think a chron blog did a poll about how far the reader thinks the Texas will go, but it would be interesting to see the HAIF'ers perception. I'll probably start one, after this post.

    More trees downtown, and 1 parking lot eliminated. I'd prefer a building or tower, but this is the next best thing.
