WestMont: Mixed-Use Development Coming To Montrose
rsb320 replied to groovehouse's topic in Going Up!
Papa John's is still there. This really is a large piece of land considering parking lots both in the front and back, nix the Jack in the Box. I hope someone has a vision for this property as well as the old Skybar/Cody's building. Oh, the possibilities.- 697 replies

I saw that yesterday. These funds were to be dedicated to drainage projects, or at least that's what I thought I was voting for. Um, now that I think about it, I got flyers in the mail that very directly stated that these funds could not be diverted. This really pisses me off, if true.

That would be an interesting topic. Hopefully, somebody can find some history of this (Fairgrounds).

I just saw a trolley shuttle. It was like the ones from the 80s-90s, not a green link. -
Today, the light rail was free because it's black heritage day. How are riders counted that don't pay?

Rodeo will also boost ridership. It's really quite funny to me to see the train at night, chock full of Cowboys & Cowgirls. It looks like they've been corralled in there. I might just hop on there one evening, just for kicks.

Looks like they've got some extensive construction ahead of them. -
"Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed." Yeah, let's just sell it, since it has no meaning to this city.

Horrible Smell At Baldwin St. & Webster St.
rsb320 replied to Chi-Char-Hou-Dal's topic in General Houston Discussions
It's probably sewer gas. Haven't they started construction on Bagby? They've probably disturbed some lines while they're replacing them. -
Glad to see that you're alive. Welcome back.

The Shell Oil facility on Bellaire at Braes used to have a siren. City Hall had one that sounded every Friday at noon. -

Anybody been by here lately? Last time I was, there was a pretty substantial project going on. I appeared that this project will have below grade parking, but I'm not sure.- 43 replies
