    i just noticed a construction fence is being put up, any idea if they landed a tenant? edit: 8,000 total sq ft available. 6K on bottom, 2k on top.

    Update: They say 8,000 sq feet is leased with 6,000 sq feet still available. Constrution won't start until Q4 2012.

    it's not so bad man. Residential spurs retail, and evening retail at that. I think all this low rise residential development will have a big positive impact for in/close to the loop retail, better than office buildings. I also think that while the housing crash has been a drain on the economy, it has had a huge positive impact for those who are looking for a more dense Houston with better retail and walkability.

    More renderings of the school and this one says that the parking area will be a 2-level parking structure shared by both schools. Also on the drawing board are sites for two restaurants and a residential development, as well as an underground parking garage for about 140 vehicles." His firm has a 2.5-acre site where it’s planning on building a 900k SF to 1.1M SF building.     No they didn't but things usually move somewhat kick after a variance request right? I know there are always delays, but just sayin... Yes that's the new structure. Looks like they will be adding a "green roof" to the existing structure too.

    That is for City Centre Phase II, they are building apartments on 2 lots (one with a dog run) and that parking garage on the lot you are talking about.

    yes all of these pictures are of phase III, i have not heard any resolution on phase IV, that lot is currently where the construction trailor is sitting just south of the construction pictures great pictures by the way... i wonder what west gray will look like in 3 years???

A new parking garage will be constructed on the eastern half of the block with a movie theater on the top floor. The garage will provide parking for the existing building as well as for the movie theater, which will operate only at nights and on weekends."
