  1. From the Inerfaith Ministries thread "on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 2:10 PM, said: In somewhat related news, I noticed that the lot for the Men's Center at Alabama between Fannin and San Jacinto has been cleared. There is now a construction trailer sitting in the lot." From Nancy's Blog above: "There is three phases of development proposed. The proposed development is within two separate city blocks on both the east and west side of Fannin Street. Presently, the owner is applying with the City of Houston for building permits to build Phase 1 from the “Master Plan” which is the “Residence Hall” referenced above. However, Phase 3 of the “Maser Plan” proposes a “Support Facility” building along Fannin Street."
  2. I saw what looks like some foundation prep going on today, first sign of movement since the tear down.
  3. http://www.buffalobayou.org/documents/July2012FAQs-BuffaloBayouParkShepherdtoSabine.pdf Will the planned Ismaili Center construction begin at the same time as Buffalo Bayou Park construction takes place? We are hopeful that Houston is next on the list of construction for an Ismaili Center at Allen Parkway and Montrose by the Aga Khan Foundation; we have met with representatives from the Aga Kahn Foundation, however we do not have information about those plans at this time.
  4. one of the guys at the site said the new park will be ready in March or April but that seems really far out
  5. I saw a tralier and a porta potty at the site today.
  6. great... i'm hoping it's because of the halfway houses...
  7. I agree, also are their corporate offices in Montrose currently home to bums walking all over the place or is it simply just that, corporate offices? I don't know the answer and I am curious, if anyone lives by the current IM offices let us know what you think.

  11. Agreed. And at least all of this development will be new.
  12. I spoke to the director of development and he first said they were building a 2 story food distribution center before he said, "oh, you are talking about the primeway site, that will be corporate offices..." Maybe they will be building the food distribution center on the lot you are talking about.
  13. ok, this is going to be Interfaith Ministries corporate offices and they will add a conference room to the bottom floor. They said there are some design changes but nothing structural.
  14. http://www.bisnow.co...deal-sheet-502/ "Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston purchased 3303 Main St, a three-story, 39k SF office building in Midtown. The sale involved the leaseback of PrimeWay Federal Credit Union’s branch bank and motor bank, which will remain on the location for a short term. Zieben Commercial Properties’ Alan Zieben repped seller PrimeWay (with legal representation by Womac & Associates’ Brian Womac) and NewQuest’s Jeff Hayes and Tal McIver repped the buyer (with Boyar Miller’s Brad Scarborough)."
