  1. You can choose to create or join a group, and if you make it private you can put a password on it. We can do yahoo too, doesn't matter to me. That way some people won't have to make a new login for new stuff. I already have one I use all the time. Ok I made one: Get in the action now: http://games.espn.go.com/bowlmania/en/group?groupID=11556 Group: HAIF Bowl Challenge 2010 Password: haify
  2. When I look this morning it's all tied again. Oh well. I'll share the winnings I guess. We should do the ESPN.com bowl game pick em, it does confidence and stuff.
  3. I thought overall standings were tied, but it shows me up by 1, and with that cover by Nebraska, it's over!!! When do I get my money?
  4. It's down to the last 3, and can go either way between me and ibuprofen (who was that again?). VT looks to have it locked up, but we have that picked the same. But we have OU/Neb and Hawaii/UNLV picked different, so the two point swing can tie it, put me up by 2, or I lose by one. Craziness!! Too bad I'm not gonna stay awake until the Hawaii game is over to find out.
  5. America's (that freakin lobster dish with the corn pasta, come on!) Blue Fish Chicago Pizza Beck's Prime Pierson & Company BBQ Wings n Things Ok so that's 6, but I like some damn wings so deal with it!
  6. If they build it, hell even I might come. but only on a guys' night out kind of thing where I can get just drunk enough to not notice that soccer is boring.
  7. Not knowing who Bob Dylan is = FAIL. Cleveland fans are bitter, they have been dumped on since the beginning of time. LeBron can go wherever he wants, but the way he did it was immature and classless. Of course he'll never realize that because he's just a large, talented kid. In the end, it's the NBA so who gives a crap. His self-importance has reached ridiculous levels, and I choose to not partake in any of it.
  8. This is fine by me. I think it will make fat americans realize we don't need to be fed just because we're sitting down in a confined space. And it'll doubly save $$ for Contin-ited, because food that gets served is paid for, and I'm sure far fewer people pay for it than ate the free stuff so the have far less on hand. Then again, drinks should be free. Add it to my fare, I don't care. Just whiskey me as soon as I sit down, and keep it comin.
  9. With our small blocks, maybe. Definitely would be neat. But how to you assign the address for the joined part! It's impossible, that alone should prevent it from ever happening.
  10. I've seen questions here before about whether walkers/joggers should use the right or left of hike/bike trails. I guess it's not obvious to everyone.
  11. Just keep to the right, and no headphones so you can hear me when I say I'm coming. And no pooping on the pathway, though it's probably annoying dogs doing that and not runners.
  12. I make it from near 610 and Shepherd to Westlake plaza in 20 minutes all the time at 8am, and back at 5pm. I-10 is not a problem.
  13. I was thinking the same thing...bring on the beef!!
  14. I thought the mayor who signed the deal with the devil was a Democrat?
  15. When I was a kid, those Atkinson peanut butter bar things were very common. I used to load up, they were my favorite. This year, my daughter only got 1. Sad. They need to up their advertising and come back to popularity so I can get my yearly fix. On the other side of things, I do not miss those black or orange unmarked wrapped squishy peanut (maybe?) type candies. Gross.
  16. Nice! I'm looking forward to alternating between Hubcap and Christian's to get my burger fix.
  17. It was kickin in Baton Rouge where we trick-or-treated. I never had any traffic here in Montrose or Heights. Lazy kids or lazy parents? I used to sprint with my friends or sisters from house to house, trying to hit every one in the neighborhood. Kids these days just don't have their priorities straight.
  18. I get paid, right? 13 out of 16, come on! I'm never going to do that again. Too bad this is free for fun and in my fantasy league where I can win money I tanked this week.
  19. Yes, because I won't have to get on 610 or I-45 to get there. And we don't do our shopping during weekday rush hour. Do the rest of you? I guess that's one way to stress yourself out. Have fun.
  20. You're assuming I drive like that. I don't. That's the point, I do think of others. I just might not come to that complete stop, or I might decide that at 2am this left turn red light is idiotic when I am the only one on the road. No one is dying because of me, it's way more because of the incompetent people out there who don't keep good track of their surroundings. When some idiot does drive like an idiot or kill someone, then you prosecute or ticket them. Not just because of some BS load of rules that is designed to keep morons who can't think quickly or safely from killing us. Exactly, but with cameras as-implemented, you get a ticket even if you are the only person in the city at the time. I don't see a point to the black and white of some things, I see that only as a mechanism for police to get $ and annoy the people they are supposedly protecting. In the end I get it, most people really are morons, so you need all of the rules. But there should be levels of the driving test where some of us can qualify to make judgment calls that get past the BS.
  21. I hit multi-quote on as many posts as I want to reply to, then scroll to the bottom and hit the regular Add Reply button. Then they're both in the text box and you can do your business.
  22. I'm against them because I think all traffic violations should be subjective. If no one is coming, no one is around, and I turned right without completely stopping, then I didn't do anything wrong. I acted in a safe manner and made an adult decision. Same for stop signs and speeding. Just let me do what the hell I want, and if I drive like a jackass or cause an accident then give me a ticket.
  23. I'm not sure it had anything to do with change of ownership, more likely a term in the lease, but at Allen House they did tell people to be out before some of their leases were up. I'm sure there was a minimum notice # of days, but a friend of mine had to be out 3 months before his lease was up.
  24. And a self car wash. Gotta have lots of those in random places.
