  1. Got me! Same thing with Christmas lights.
  2. Hunker down! Oh my gosh, this is going to be fun. Don't forget to tape your windows and then leave the tape on forever. I hate when people did that last time. Man, I hate storms and the local news. Every time my aunt goes out of town and I have to tend to her pool, something like this happens.
  3. I haven't noticed her face, but her arms are huge! They're man arms. I've never seen a 50-year-old woman with arms like that.
  4. Oh, I was just kidding! I'm not going, so I don't care. So what about wardrobe changes? You have those too?
  5. Well there goes any element of surprise for those attending.
  6. Water is my main beverage Iced tea/green tea G2 (the low-cal Gatorade) Diet Cherry Coke Orange juice Cranberry juice Sparkling water I won't drink any sort of milk based drink (shakes, dairy smoothies, etc). I cannot stand milk.
  7. I miss Oldies 94.5 (now Oldies 107.5). When I was growing they'd always play great '60s music. Now it's mostly late '70s rock, which I like, but there's no other station for '50s, '60s and early '70s anymore. Just wanted to vent after listening to "Cherry Hill Park" on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEzut5kGg4k
  8. The water looks nice there. It looks like diarrhea today.
  9. Yeah, it's funy to see Alice Cooper all done up now with his make up bleeding into his wrinkles! The ones with the make up: Kiss, Alice, etc. Those were the ones who scared me. I thought they were the most evil looking of monsters.
  10. I looked up heel spurs, but I don't think it's that. It's primarily found in middle aged men and people with a history of foot problems. Granted my feet are weird. Apparently I have my grandfather's feet whatever that means. I think it must be over extension of those tendons.
  11. Didn't Rafer cut someone with a butter knife last year?
  12. Now I'm getting excited about Artest. Usually when one of our teams makes a big acquisition, it's pretty divided and I don't know enough to know any better. Everyone's enthusiastic about this one. They better stay healthy.
  13. Ehh, no. World's largest wax museum! I won't go off topic anymore.
  14. I don't think it's that. Sometimes when I do a work out incorporating a lot of steps, like step aerobics, there's a popping or crackling sensation in my heels. Like they need to be oiled. As long as I'm rambling on like an old person, hasn't anyone been getting bit by those long red ants? I'm not kidding, I've gotten bit by one about every two weeks since June. It hurts like maddness and then the next day it swells up big and ugly. I can't recall getting bit like this before. My left wrist is swollen right now.
  15. This thread makes me wish I wasn't so cheap to get satellite radio.
  16. After rewording some of my searches I think it's my Achilles tendons, bit it doesn't hurt in my calf. Only behind my foot. Those health websites are so disgusting! They had a picture of some guy's leg cut open with his tendons hanging out.
  17. Does anyone know anything about foot problems? Ok, I've described my problem to Google, but I cannot find an answer and I'm getting frustrated. Lately both of the backs of my feet, just above the heel, directly behind my ankles have been very tender and sore. I run my finger across it and it hurts. It kind of feels like someone ran into the backs of my feet with a grocery cart or something. You know how that feels. In the mornings they're very stiff and it takes a minute for them to warm up. I stretch them usually before I get out of bed in the mornings, but they're still stiff and later still sore to the touch. I exercise regularly. Any clue as to what could be wrong with me?
  18. They ought to turn the Astrodome into a giant roller disco. Talk about mad fun.
  19. I like the one with the creepy space mural.
  20. I remember the brawl now after seeing it again on the news last night.
  21. I hear his name a lot so I figure he's alright. Didn't know which team he played for, though. Edited: I guess I know why his name sounded familiar. Folks on the chron.com say this fellow is a thug.
