I found a solution...Since i'm off fridays...I bought a membership and visit fridays Only hot soccer moms and very few dads with there kids.

Wow, is all i can say! It is a MAJOR pain in the butt to get to it during the weekends! Not just traffic/construction but the lot fills up and they close it. In the past 4 years i have been turned away atleast 6 times. I know they say take the rail but everytime i do the lot is managable and open!

Predictable....I turned on the webplayer and non stop commercials. Get XM who cares about $12 a month, Some of you'll spend more than that on beer. When 95.7 first came online "Finger Eleven Paralyzer" was on every hour and a half! (no joke) there is NO LOSS HERE. I have 3 cds and 2 mp3s can i start my own radio station?! Once i learned everyone plays commercials at the same time i picked up my Roady. The morning shows are lame, i don't care what madonna is doing, nor do i give a rats ass about Tom Cruise. The last time i flew was in 2002...(nothing was as strict as it is now) I have been to the TSA website BUT IT IS SO DAMN CONFUSING!

I want to take my laptop but do not want to "carry it on" can i "check it in?" TSA says "Do not pack oversized electronics (laptops, full-size video game consoles, DVD players and video cameras that use cassettes) in your checked baggage when possible. " I have one bottle of prescription medication and contact solution(which i understand size does not matter...And this goes in a ziplock together?) i will carry on. I am traveling SW to BWI from HOU. Only reason i don't want to carry on my laptop is because i'm traveling with a DSLR /1P&S and a few lenses.(no room already )Any advice is welcomed.

ya the minute men were at the gulfgate location once..as a joke to show me dumb they were, my wife went up and talked to them etc....they gave here the illegal speech, and how "those people" were killing the economy, while her and other hard working Americans etc etc..but the joke of it was she was illegal at the time..(European)

No! White people can't be illegals!? Only mexicans... I worked at the Office Depot and we've contacted the landlord...the police/HPD/Precinct 6...No one cares/shows up. They claimed unless "they are violating the law" they won't dispatch. I've seen fights....blah blah blah but atleast the landlord provides them with bags to clean up there mess.

Not sure if it is new, but I was coming in from out of town on Sunday and noticed on the Southern end of the pedestrian bridge they had put up the framework (2x4's and plywood) of what looks like a sign, possibly announcing the project. If anyone passes by soon, maybe you can take a peak and see if they do make an announcement.

Yes, and it was always flooded. There was nothing more frustrating than having dinner at the Cleer Creek Inn, Jimmy Walkers or Key Largo, and then comming out to your car, only to find it hub cap deep in high tide. I personally think the boardwalk, and every thing Fertitta, Wiggins and King have done to Kemah is an improvement over what used to be there.

I agree, People keep bashing fertita...I think he has done a good job with kemah. I don't see why people hate the food/talk smack. I often go in the evening ride a few rides and eat. It's not bad PLUS the constant wind from the ocean makes you forget where you are.

What's up with postal delivery I've had 3 mailman come at different hours now. I used to get my mail at 8a now 10, 12, 2. Sometimes the carrier comes 3 times a day!(reg mail/advertising in the morn, priority and netflix the 2nd time 3rd time in the day he comes if he's "forgotten anything" ) I've ordered stuff and it's taken 4-5 days via priority(from the same places used to take 2 days) I thought it was just me i made a comment to my friend and he said the same thing! He live in the medical center area. I know about the "cut bucks" and deficit they are going thru but come on...Anyone have any ideas? Calls to the post office are no help.

Yes, it is open to the public. On the tunnel level there is an elevator that goes all the way to it. That's how I usually get to it. Note that there are actually two such sky lobbies in the building on different floors, one on 20-something and one on 50-something or so.

Also, the JP Morgan Chase tower has an observation deck. These face against each other, so you can see most of downtown by going up in these two buildings. There is also a small observation window in the Bank of America building that faces Allen Parkway. This Bank of America one is very unadvertised, but just take the elevator bank to the highest floor available from the lobby and you'll see a sign that says "No public beyond this floor".
