  1. No, it was the basis for your comments
  2. pot calling the now kettle huh? already pointed out what puma's stance is since post #43 and you still want to deny it?! The stance has always been money enables more opportunities, you are the one jumping the gun, assuming that providing more opportunities is the only factor or automatically makes a better parent and you still want to deny it! And now making up more of things puma never said 'money will allow you to raise a better child'? As stated many times, it provides more opportunities for a better life, does not automatically mean one will become a good child or good parent, so don't make the latter part up any more. Don't get upset for getting caught.
  3. You forget fast or you are trying to change directions and make up something I didn't even mention? Let me bring you back. Only five posts down you said, 'That is his whole basis though webdude. Puma equates making more money, makes them a better parent.' As already pointed out with example post#43 , that is not what puma's stance is. Are you going to acknowledge you made that up or not?
  4. So how did you translate that to finance as strictly the only factor or that it is the most important factor?
  5. I see posts after posts saying something else. Maybe you need to reread it again. You are putting words up. Puma did not say more money automatically means a better parent, as was already pointed out again and again and again. Nobody is saying 'finance is the most important' or that it 'automatically means good parent'. You are the one assigning that as puma's whole basis, but that is not true. The stance is 'more money, in a better position to care for', so don't twist it up. Your argument makes sense, but you are arguing against a position imagined up by yourself, not one taken by puma. From the start when the this post deviated. Post #43, Puma already said, 'No, not that money making a childs up bringing better, but it can make it easier and open more doors', but someone up there decided to lie and said, 'so making more money means better parents'. Then someone else decided to taken another post 'strictly financial' out of context and lie that puma is saying only financial means can make a good parent. Stop lying already.
  6. Lie again about it being 'the most important factor'? which part did you see that it is strictly and the most important being mentioned?
  7. It is most definitely not perspective in this case. One side fights to control somebody else. The other fights to stop being controlled. Fundies want non-fundies to live like them. Non-fundies do not want fundies to live like non-fundies, non-fundies just want to live the way they want to live. Will move on when the lying stops.
  8. People are not liberated, open minded about and tolerant of bigotry and intolerance. And its not a fair comparison. Not really the same kind of conviction, one side fights to impose bigotry and intolerance. the other fights to 'impose' acceptance. One is the cause of the other, if not for fundies' conviction to impose on others, there would not exist the conviction to fight back that imposition. I do not wish him hell.
  9. Nice pics, I went there in january, it was really humid and hot. But the food is cheap and awesome. Everything is squeaky clean and orderly. Tons and tons of real nice shopping malls. Went everywhere by rail (MRT). Super convenient and clean, unlike the san francisco bart or new york sub, but so many damn ppl. Very crowded everywhere. No land so everything is built up. Like their high rise flats. 70% live in government built flats but its very different concept than our public housing here. Their flats are more like our nice private condos, maybe because they still have to buy it even though its built with help from the government, and they are not cheap either.
  10. There is a billboard showing that ashley furniture is coming to katy.
  11. Whenever houston floods, we get twice the bright lights, from the reflection that is, (actually four times more if you include the lighting strikes like yesterday), so its all good. Well, better than nothing.
  12. no, its someone visiting from texas, he could be visiting george though
  13. Would it help just to dam up the Mississippi without reversing the current? The current just prevents the stuff from the Mississippi river from flowing out or does the current also bring crap in?
  14. Anyway, which one would be easier to pretty up, the sand or the water? I am sure its not asking too much to have at least one of them not suck. How much work would be involved to do either one?
  15. Why not put it in our parks. cost less to transport
  16. I will continue to support which product gives me the most value, and I will not bow to false patriotism, where does one get the idea that buying a American brand car makes one a patriot, or not buying makes one not. IMHO, if not for unions, American brands would have produce better cars.
  17. Using this weird analogy, guys with same age girlfriends would feel like they are sorta of ____ing their sister (ie if they have a sister)
  18. The atmosphere and mood is just not the same shopping at walmart vs another like target. Really bright super white lights; that's why I prefer target, better atmosphere, more stylish stuff at about the same prices. But obviously not all targets or walmarts are the same, but most of the walmarts have that starkly white sterile feel. Hopefully this one is not.
  19. Its a private property to conduct business, nobody means no business
  20. I have seen feces in the sink basin of a public restroom at a shopping mall. Makes me wonder how the person did it, did he climb up or did he scoop it up and put it there. Doesn't make any sense in either case.
  21. Everyone is assuming here. In this over PC society, it is getting harder and harder to know who is a racist or bigot. Not like any bigot or racist in positions of power is going to say I am denying your application or giving you a ticket or firing you because you are ________(fill in any race, gender). They will always find something legitimate, they will just be stricter with the ones they don't like and it will be hard to detect. Likewise, not every one who feels they are being discriminated are right, even though they can feel it. Its getting hard trying to catch this and know which is which because ppl are so PC nowadays. PCness just mask the symptoms. They don't stop racism or bigtoty. And even if you do catch it, it will be hard to prove, and some ppl will just label your case victim mentality. Maybe in Alabama will you still get ppl with balls to tell you in the face how they really feel about your color or gender or religion.
  22. That doesn't make any sense. you saying that you, a white dude, got away with the same offense, while howard, a non-white dude, had to pay $100 for the same offense; therefore, there is no racism and howard is just paranoid?
  23. Are you arguing that there is racism or there isn't, because you are are actually proving examples for it; looks like you got away with more than you should, while he got something he shouldn't be getting.
  24. Its alright to doubt but I will still take NASA's astronauts and scientists over unknown online forum posters' opinions.
  25. For equally priced cars, american brand cars do not compare. And the market has already determine that, not me. Sorry, oprah calling not going change that.
