Grocers Supply Co. At 11 N. Jackson St.
LTAWACS replied to Chi-Char-Hou-Dal's topic in Historic Houston
Negative. I'm in the east end. I think Katy would be a more appropriate place. After all... Katy-ian churches are running around downtown trying to spread their lies feed the homeless. Well then let's bring the needy to them.- 27 replies

That's great but... has anyone interviewed Wilson from his jail cell? What does he have to say about this mess he created and the millions of dollars collected from honest, hard working, law abiding citizens?

METRO is not in the business of making money. They are a government agency and should not be out to make a profit but rather to serve citizens. Period. If there are budgetary discrepancies (i.e. losing money) then management should be replaced. Period.

Social work? What the heck kind major is that? On a more serious note... They may want to consider the star of hope near MMP or the seemingly random locations where that church in katy decides to feed the homeless

The Battle for Cool - Houston vs San Francisco
LTAWACS replied to toxtethogrady's topic in General Houston Discussions
Given the nature of humans to reproduce, I'd say that alone gives Houston the edge. It's easier and better to raise a family here. -

Market Square Tower: 40-Story High-Rise At 777 Preston St.
LTAWACS replied to Urbannizer's topic in Downtown
You have a point. For this reason alone, I cannot imagine why these *#*#*#*#* dog parks are getting popular and seem to be everywhere these days. Next thing you know, they will allow dogs in restaurants. Ugh.- 1,894 replies

So typical of METRO. First they lose or waste millions then the lie about the underpass/oeverpass in the east end, and now the FUBAR this too. Thanks METRO!

Phillips 66 Headquarters In Westchase District
LTAWACS replied to Pleak's topic in Katy and Points West
You have a point. Most people aren't interested in architecture the way we are. -
Phillips 66 Headquarters In Westchase District
LTAWACS replied to Pleak's topic in Katy and Points West
Yes, I know there is no real need for this to be a trophy tower... but still... I thought there was a rendering that depicted something spherical at the top of a tall structure. -

LTAWACS replied to Pleak's topic in Katy and Points West
Hrm... ok... However, there is no reason why this should not have been much more "unique" or "different" than most other buildings out in this part of the metro. Or is there? -

Any grocery store opening in a food desert will likely take on the added burden of paying for more security it seems.
