Student dorms. Parking garage is 15 stories and huge and not even finished yet. 🌬️I wonder if they will put wind turbines on the top of the student dorms?🤪- 547 replies

Not 311 but when mayor Turner had a web site created to point out potholes, I reported a huge hole on Hawthorne right next to Montrose Blvd next to the little shopping center and they came out in just a day or two to fix it. This was during the pot hole controversy of a few years ago.

Some info I found about the architect of the original church, I don't see it mentioned here but he seemed to specialize in churches. https://www.houstontx.gov/planning/HistoricPres/landmarks/09L214_St_John_2222_Gray.pdf https://pleasantgroveway.wixsite.com/pleasantgroveway/about This Plat sign was across the street in a big empty concrete lot. I wonder if the church will move here if the MOD Project goes thru.

"On March 16, the Chicago Bears announced that they had hired the Kansas City, Missouri-based MANICA Architecture to design their new stadium at the former Arlington International Racecourse site. While no estimated opening date or budget have been made public yet, MANICA is no stranger to football stadium design, having worked on the Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium in Nevada." https://www.archpaper.com/2022/03/daily-news-chicago-bears-select-architect-for-new-stadium-sanctuary-open-in-times-square-next-month/
