  1. These are the two properties Fairfield bought for their future apartments on Oliver.
  2. That is a really big crane to put up a tower crane, that size of crane makes me think it's going to be lifting precast concrete structures for either a parking garage or for a building. I guess it could put up the tower crane while it's on site but to build a crane that size it makes me think it's going to be there a while. Edit: The fact that it's on crawler tracks means it will be moving around, most AT cranes sit in one optimal spot to erect a tower crane. It takes too much time and manpower to erect and disassemble an AT crane and they can't move once assembled.
  3. The Medium was plenty hot enough for me. I like hot food but not so hot I'm crying. I once went to a Thai food restaurant in Webster and mistakenly got the hot fish meal, poor waitress ended up just leaving the whole water pitcher with me after me requesting constant water refills. How much water or milk did you have to drink? Reminds me of this .......
  4. When I first moved to the Houston area I lived in Pasadena, they had a street spelled Tartar but everyone pronounced it Tater. It led into Pasadena Blvd at Burke Rd. but a few years ago they renamed the whole road Pasadena Blvd.
  5. I couldn't find any permits for it but Loopnet shows it for lease and Google Maps says "Permantently closed". https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/1805-Ella-Blvd-Houston-TX/21433487/
  6. Chaputelpec address is 813 Richmond and so is the little white building next to it. Drew BBQ is 819, I went there a couple times before The Pit put them out of business. I used to go to Chapultepec after the bars closed and sometimes for breakfast, a fight broke out once when I took my nephew after a show at Continental Club. I miss Ruchi's on Shepherd when they had the late night one man band on a keyboard playing all the popular Mexican songs and the whole crowd would be singing along.
  7. Finally tried it. I ordered in store for take home and didn't look inside or on the screen but I thought I ordered one slider medium heat and kale slaw. When I got home I had 1 chicken tender and no slaw, 100% my fault for not checking. If that was actually medium heat it was hot enough for me. It was good though, will go back.
  8. Hanover Parkview, mid rise is now leasing. https://www.hanoverparkview.com 3 rotundas for food, coffee and ice cream vendors.
